Just curious, what are you guys exspecting the most in the next book? Just wondering how far off you are from the real answer.

Raz'zac's death, Galby's death. Roran reuinited with Katrina. Oromis may die, Eragon will get a new weapon, leave the kingdom forever.

Dont pretend you know the answers, people only hate you for it.

I expect some espionage plot (when stealing the last egg) by sneaking inside the castle. i except murtagh are trully evil. I expect nasuada will do some great movement. I wish Arya get together with eragon. I wish orik won't die. I wish islanzadi come to battle. I hope eragon has a new sword once belong to the first rider. High probability galbs would die. I hope ra'zac won't all die, but some survival ran away so the battle just not yet over.
I wish roran can do some major action (but not as a rider). I wish Elva do some great deeds too. I hope Eragon could summon some great creature (??)
Oh well... etc etc.

i agree with almost all of that. except for the ra'zac thing i want them to die. i hope that eragon and roran fight them together.

Hmmm. I don't know where you were going with the Ra'Zac not dieing. They are the last four, so it should be simple with a few hundred people against them.

Human are always on top on anything, even on the food chain. With ra'zac around, human could learn hospitality and modesty, even awareness and unity amongst themselvers against a greater power threatening them. But because humans have been the most superior being, people treated other creatures than themselves "poorly".
After all... that's why ra'zac considered evil, because they're prey on humans. Just like human prey on rabbits or deers. Maybe rabbits and deers would want to go against us too!

OF course!! If ra'zac is HERE in our neighborhood i would prefer them to die, anyway !! Because they only exist on book, i want to watch some world which human are not always that powerful.

lethrblaka, (dont have the book at hand) I have read both books a mind numbing amount of times, I have to to be an admin on so many of these sites and to pass my english with a top class personal study essay on both of em.

i reckon that the third egg will be stolen by the varden and taken 2 the elves. it will hatch for 1 of them (mayb vanir, thats y he is mentioned so much in book 2) and cos he hasnt had the time to trian he will attack murtagh. eragon will face off wit galbatorax or wattevr and defeat him, but he is weak from the fight and saphira dies. Eragons nu sword will be made by the elven smith hu has decided not 2 make weapons of war, and the leves but sum power in it or summat so it is easier to defeat galby or summat like that. i ramble on a bit, dont i? lol. wat i said is a total guess so dont believe it.

well im pretty sure that the last rider will be on the empire's side, or else there would be a new main character in the varden. then again, that could be the point!

entirely what i was tryin to put 2 u b4. he/she/it (mayb it is an urgal???) doesnt hav 2 b a main character. just think of the hp books. harry ron and hermione r the main characters but it only follows harry's thoughts. the uvr rider cud jus b there, and thats it

The worst thing Christopher could do is keep the 3rd egg from hatching in the 3rd book. The Empire already has the Varden out numbered, but we still havn't seen Galbatorix show his face. Perhaps we never do see him. This just leaves Eragon and Murtagh, and we all know that Eragon easily out matches Murtagh as he is part elf. The whole plot is now resting on who the 3rd egg will hatch for (if it does).

As for who the egg hatches for - I have a strong suspicion that it will be on the Varden's side. Does Green sound like an evil colour to you? (for those of you who didn't know, the 3rd book's cover is green which means the Dragon is too) And also, don't forget Katrina... think about it. She is with the Ra'zac. The Ra'zac are around the egg. Catch my drift? She could surprise us....

Maybe the 3rd egg will get lost or destroyed. I spose that defeats the point of the 3rd book though. dont worry, it will hatch!

yep, ur rite. i think eragon cuda whopped murtaghs ass if he hadnt just hav been fightin 4 i dont no how long, and if he had taken the time to put more energy into the belt and ruby in raz'rocs hilt. i thot he wuda dun that a bit more. mayb galby's dead and he is only "living" cos his advisors are sayin "galby says this, galby says that"???

Could Murtagh have just been trying to intimidate Eragon? Murtagh did have a slight advantage. Eragon was exhausted. He had no magic energy left, and had no strengh left, even to lift his weapon was hard. It could have made Murtagh look as if he was strong and powerful, when he actually wasnt. Its just a theory though

Hmmm, galby's alive alright, but how strong is he? he would obviously send people out to say his power is always growing. Maybe he is teaching murtagh his secrets because he is about to die?

Well, if Galby really IS that powerful, he could wipe out the entire Varden in a matter of minuits. I don't know why he is holding back, unless he is too weak or about to die. A Dragon Rider can't stay alive for ever...

Its the most progress we have made so far! Its a great idea! It all fits together! Thorns strength - his ability to breath fire.... The way Murtugh showed up JUST as the Ra'zac captured him. In fact, the Ra'zac were probably asked to capture him, then run away... so Murtagh could stay with him. YES! Thats it!

I think we have the answer! What a breakthrough!

Games are interesting activities created for the personal pleasure of the one involved, to pass time or simply as a means of entertainment. Louis has mentioned that the saphiracoins will be used for only the games for now... he may introduce other uses for saphiracoins later on. And if you don't know what they do, why are you begging for them?

i reckon that Oromis and Gladre willl die because Oromis is getting weaker and weaker and will die from the tortue from the forsworn. Gladre will die because hes old and will die if Oromis dies. Galby will get killed by Eragon. Roran could become king. The raz'ac will die. Eragon will leave Alagasia forever with Arya. Saphira will leave but won't mate 1st and she dosn't have to as she could live forever.

ya i think oromis and glaedr will die too because they are very weak

i think they could be healed and Gladre could be one of the dragons in eragons dream

Thats a good theory. I had never considered that Thorn could have already hatched for Murtagh and that he stayed with Eragon to get him to the Varden so he could see what the Varden were doing and report to Galby. Maybe Murtagh was just a good actor. It would also explain why he fought so hard to keep the twin from entering his mind. Maybe the twins didn't know that Murtagh was serving Galby and he used them as a way to get back to Galby without people finding about about him.
