That's about the size of it. I really don't think she does have an outpouring of romantic feelings towards him, but seriously... are we expecting this to end in anything but 'happily ever after'? She is really the only developed romantic interest, anything else from this point would seem rather silly in my mind. (The Queen of Varden, new character, etc.)

I read the whole series so far and I didn't see Bladesinger mentioned ANYWHERE. I finished Brisingr a couple of days ago and didn't see it anywhere. I'm rereading the books though so I might find it. If anyone knows, what page is it on? (In the hardback edition)

second: if she did, she would never reveal them because of her duty to alagaesia
third: if she did reveal them, it would be as eragon was leaving, when he really couldn't hear her
fourth: if he did hear, it would be too late, and cp won't make it like a chic flick and make eragon jump ship and run into arya's arms...

No, we don't know Bladesinger's background. There are only 3 possible choices:Nasuada, Bladesinger, or Arya. Nasuada is not going to be it so it's either Bladesinger or Arya.

I'm telling you that Ayrea(sp?) will never "fall" in love with Eragon, as for everyone else, he dosn't have any real connection with them and it is too late in the books for CP to create a connection.

There isn't enough time for the book to end like that, they are in the middle of a war, and Eragon will have to focus at the task at hand.

But alot happens in the books....and we ever know Eragon doesn't always stay focused lol...and what about bladesinger i she isthe next rider...she could be nobility so you never know

She is too small a character, and if I were to guess it will be Roran who gets green drag. He is a farmer or Earth. Earth is Green. Eragon was a bit of an "air-head" not to say he was stupid or anything, but to say he has his head in the clouds. Saphira is blue, the color of the sky & water whick is free flowing, like Eragon.

Have you read book 3 ? There are many hints that she is falling for him, the biggest one being when she tells him to heal his hand and then does so herself and then gets Embarrassed and turns away shyly and mentions how glad she is that he's there. She's never behaved like toward him before so Eragon gets confused.

That's your wishful thinking, nothing more. If we follow reason and go by what is in the books then at some point Eragon and Arya will express their feelings and will get together.

only to die eventually. whether that day or the next 1000000th date. but probably murtagh will kill arya. eragon will kill thorn. galby will kill murtagh for failing. eragon will kill galby.

It's possible but not probable. Judging by CP's history he will have a happy ending where none of the main good guys die ala LOTR.
