Skills: She can run faster then a normal human thanks to the vampire blood running in her veins. She is able to jump higher and further then a normal human, again thanks to the vampire in her. Her voice can be hypnotic if she chooses, and if people look into her eyes she has some control over their memories although not to the extent of a full-blooded vampire. She is stronger then a normal human, as well as having naturally enhanced beauty. Being half vampire she can make her canine teeth longer, but most of the time they appear normal. She has better then normal hearing and sight as well.

Race: Half human, half vampire.

Hair: Her hair is a golden blonde and is long.

Eyes: She has emerald green eyes most of the time but when she is angry or frustrated they turned black and dilate more then normal.

home village: She doesn't know where she was born as she has never been in any place long enough to call it home.

Parents: Melyssa (human-deceased) Dravyn (vampire-whereabouts unknown)

Siblings: A half brother from her mother, called Alexyon. She has never met him but her mother told her about him.

Personality:She is a very caring and giving person towards the people she cares for and is loyal to, but to her enemies she is relentless, merciless and unforgiving. When she sets out to do something, it is fairly rare that it is left undone, for if she starts something she means to finish. She has a fun loving side and is always playing jokes on her friend, Kyrian, who tries to get her back, although with her heightened sense of hearing she tends to outwit him. When she is close to her routine feeding she starts being unapproachable, snappy and her eyes tend to be black the whole time no matter what mode she is in. Once she has had a feeding she is generally back to her own self, laughing and joking about. She is a loving as well as being gentle and generally kind, when not close to a feeding. She is usually generous as well, when if comes to money or time. When angered she can be uncontrollable, except where Kyrian is concerned, as he is a were, he is stronger then a human, so is the only one able to hold Maryssa back if she gets angry enough to go for someone, although he may not always get there in time to stop her attacking, he will always pull her off, and take her away to calm her down.

History: Maryssa had a somewhat varied childhood, sometimes it was happy, sometimes it was sad. She was home schooled, so didn't meet many people of her own age as a child. Then again, she was never in one place long enough to make friends even if she had met other children. Her and her mum always moved around as doctor were intrigued by Maryssa's blood. People who thought vampires real and targetted people they believed were vampires, had started to come after Maryssa. This caused her mum to always be moving them from place to place, every couple of months or so. Even as a child Maryssa was able to do all the things she can as an adult, and she liked to practice, when her mum gave her the chance. As a child, her mum made sure Maryssa had regular transfusions, which Maryssa wondered about but never complained. She first felt the feeding hunger when she was 20, and at first she didn't know what was going on, but her mum explained that her father was a vampire and that Maryssa had to have blood whenever she got the feeding hunger. At first Maryssa was appalled at the idea, but soon came to realize that if she didn't have blood, she would die, and she didn't want that, so she went and feed. A year later her mum died, but not before telling Maryssa about a half-brother called Alexyon. She told Maryssa to find him, as apart from her father, he was the only family she had. Maryssa set out with a picture of her half-brother and soon after ran into trouble. A group of blonde haired men was surrounding another blonde haired man and were beating him up, but he was fighting back even though he was majorly out numbered. Maryssa decided to help this man and she tore into the other men. Once they had been dealt with, the man they had been attacking came over, thanked her and introduced himself as Kyrian. They have been travelling together, in search of her half-brother ever since.

Weapons: She has blades in the soles of her boots, she carries a small dagger. She also uses her teeth when she has made them longer, they tend to be her secret weapon.
