Dragon Age Origins
I give it a 5 star rating out of 5 stars! Has an amazing storyline and 50 hours of game play (that is if you don't do all the quests) unless you do all the quest's then its about 80 hours or more.
The only complaint i have is that directions for where to go for your quests inst always easily known.
This is an RPG game where you choose the answers and how a conversation will go for weather people like you, love you, fear you. so its like a cross between Fable and a few other fantasy RPG games. This one has a little bit more of a solid story however.

I liked Mass Effect and this looks pretty cool, so I might check it out.

I absolutely love this game!!! My dad got me a PS3 for Christmas and he got me Dragon Age to play on it. I am currently fighting Broodmother. Does anybody know how to defeat her?

I have no clue, I'm still on the circle of magi... which is sad because there is an expansion coming out in March Dragon Age Origins Awakening...

Picked this up the other day, love it so far. Playing a human Warrior right now, but I plan on a dwarf warrior after I'm done with my first playthrough. About 8 1/2 hours in, and its awesome so far.

Just finished the Circle of the Magi (my first major mission) and have moved on to Redcliff. Thats all I'll say for spoilers, but I'm only partway in.

I'm really far in! It took me an hour, but I finally defeated Broodmother. If anyone wants to know how to defeat her, just ask!

Re: Dragon Age Origins
I saved Redcliff today, but am on my way to Denerim, and just recruited Zevran. I'll probably continue the main quest while in Denerim, but will try to do some side stuff.
I also beat the origin story for a Dwarf Commoner called Gimli. Dwarf Warriors with axes are really fun.

I chose to recruit Zevran too! When I fought him (it was about a month ago), I didn't want to kill him.

Actually I'm a rogue[human], never leave base without one (by the time I had made it to redcliff I had made 30 more gold than my dad who is a mage [human].)
I keep Dog with me at all times, I named him Snuggles ^.^ I also keep Stein and Morgain. I am currently doing the werewolves side quest

Re: Dragon Age Origins
What do you mean, Keep Zevran? I got him, and I don't think I ever got rid of him, (not that I ever used him for anything more than teaching me how to become whatever it is that he is, an assassin I think)

Re: Dragon Age Origins
I've got Zevran, but haven't used him at all. I'm a human warrior, so Allistair (my tank) and I take the front lines while Wynne heals and Morrigan just casts spells. Its worked pretty well so far, but I'm playing on the lowest difficulty after the nightmare that was the Fade. I'll probably bump it back up eventually, but I hate dying, so I'd rather just play and enjoy the story and combat without struggling. If I want a challenge, I'll play a shooter, where I'm more comfortable.
The story is really good. I'm a little under 14 hours in, and I've only completed one main quest, the Circle of Magi. I'm on the quest for the Urn, probably with about a half hour to an hour left, and I've already spent several hours on it. But its fun, so I don't mind.
Admittedly, long quests make replay obnoxious, (a struggle I had with Mass Effect 1) but I don't think I'll mind as much. I could probably speed through ME1 in 9 hours, maybe 8, and ME2 in closer to 15 (my second playthrough took like 5 hours less than the first, though I didn't do too much side stuff outside of sidequests). So this is so much longer than either of those games. I'm guessing at least 30 hours by the time I'm done, and I'll probably try to do at least some sidequests and exploring.
Basically, I love this game.

What I mean by 'keep Zevran' is did you let him join you or did you kill him?

Sorry for the double post, but I have a problem. If you've chosen to get rid of the criminals in the Pearl district, please answer this! The Crowes(assassins that Zevran came from) found me. Zevren joined up with them. Is there any way I can get him back?

(you know how cool it would have been if the quote button actually worked? lol! you should work on that Wolv ;P it'd be like this! )
Honestly, I don't know, I haven't made it that far yet, though, I suppose you could do a little looking your self and search online (basically find your self an online walkthough with stuff on characters)

I went and searched online and found I didn't have enough approval points. I asked some people on fanfiction.net and found that if I go back to an old save I might be able to get enough approval points to keep him.
