Dont you think that there should be a second movie to eragon and if there is going to be one why doesn't it come out? Even though I love eragon I just wish that there is a second movie

Yes but first they need to go back and redo Eragon with a better Director and Producer. Then they can feel free to make Eldist into a movie.

no way there defenitly shouldnt they did way to bad of a job and they left so much out that theres way to much to work around. besides even wiithout that eldest isnt really a movie book.

The directer should have consulted the script and scenes with CP to see if he agreed with him. But yeah they should make one with a better directer and producer.

if you really think about it, no matter whoo the dirctor, eldest would be a tough book to make a movie out of and it wouldnt be a good movie and it ptobably would be really boring so it probably wont happen.

I have read both of the books but I go with most people they SHOULD redo eragon

first off they should make the first movie correctly AND then the could tottaly make a second movie.

no even if they did it still wouldnt work. eldest would make a bad movie.

I hated the movie eragon! they messed it up way too much! if they made a second cp would have to write a completely different book because they messed up the first! so no they shouldn't even think about making a second!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

same with a lot of people but hey i like the movie even when i read the book.. i just didnt compare them and watched it... and i say there def will be an eledest movie, and also to answer the topic maker's question, they say the movie will come out after the thrid book is done...

they really left out a lot of characters that would be very important in eldest so theres to mush to work around.

well there are ways to work around most of it, like itroducing some of the charactors differently...
examples...
1. Elva can still be introduced in the beggining since eragon didnt leave with arya...
2. also the dwarves can show up in the beggining as well.. at the very beggining, like they show up by murtagh and ajihad and they go with them like in the book..
3. Maybe arya heard from the dwarves that they were there and came back or something likes that

... And i dunno there just ways it could work .... they will figure out something to make it work.....

probably.. because the movie was end with a glance of Shruikan's and everyone knows (from the movie plot, still..) galbatorix is the bad guy and that the story still continueing.. So.. probably people (who haven't read the book) would expecting a sequel, just to find out how the story goes. The movie erased the dwarves' existence and I don't see why they'd want to bring them in on the sequel.. so if there's a sequel,, I guess we still won't see any dwarves there. Or Elva.

Arghhh!!!! they'll have to be superbly creative to get along with the story when they erased most of the characters!! >_<

if cp hadn't sold the rights, i'd say give it to someone else to do, someone who knows how much fans would like an accurate eragon movie. then, as others have said, you could make eldest

this might tick you guys off but the movie did have dawrves but they weren't short. I found out that the guy when they first enter the varden that say's "if it attacks you die first" it meanning saphira was Hrothgar.

wasnt there a scene with elva as well that was cut out?

Yes they cut out way to much...like the twins,katrina, all of the hadaric teirm and come on the ra'zac was the ones who killed brom not durza!!! and what happend to the letherblaka?? but i still think they should do a second but they should remake the first with all of the people they did befor and get CP to watch it befor they just throw it into theaters across the globe!i mean come on!!! But my Dad,sister,brother and I are hopeing for a second! my familey is sitting on pins and needles untill the 3rd and final book comes out...

That movie was a disgrace to movies about books everywhere that messed it up so bad, it was complete trash end of story
