I really want to see this movie, it looks very interesting. Despite it being a Disney film it should be pretty good,but that's just my opinion.

I was talking to one of my friends today and they said because it was made by disney there wouldn't be any blood and gore in it, but i told him its not the guts that matter. its the quality of the movie and how much they follow the game and anything else tha game/movie was based on. I think its going to be awsome. I want to see it.

Yeah... Potc was about the first good movie disney made since Snow White.

I loved the game, and the trailer looks alright. I don't know why they couldn't get an actor of Arabic descent to play the Prince though. Probably too much of a 'risking the unknown' situation. :/
He does have the prince's voice down pat, I'll give them that.

it doesn't look to bad, but i think it only takes the general and main ideas from the game. The girl isn't even named Farah. I understand that you can't follow a game exactly but with today's technology I think you can get pretty close. But, we'll just have to see what happens. If this one is close enough, then I hope they make WW and TT a movie as well

Hey, this is the Prince of Persia chat!

Anyway, Farah is the 2nd main character in the game. You have the Prince, then you have her. Though she isn't the main character, she has a huge roll in the game so taking her out is pretty much dropping the whole story, which is why I'm sure this isn't going to be close to the game. Which is sad because the game was so AWESOME!!! there were parts that could make this the best movie ever, but with them all, Farah is a vital role so...

I guess we just hope for the best, but expect the worst.

well, then doesn't it kind of defeat the purpose of naming it after the game if it isn't following the game? it sounds hypocritical and ironic to me. But it has to be the basic storyline, though, right?

No, it is not Farah, it is some other girl. My guess is that it is suppose to be the game Prince's son or something like that. According the first screenplay he's like an adopted son, rather than actual blood Royalty, but I think they changed it

sort of, according to the info I found, it is after the SoT trilogy, so they are making a game that will end right where the movie picks up. I'm not sure if the game will pick up where Two Thrones left off because they did it so that it linked right back to the beginning of Sands Of Time, so it is hard to know where the actual beginning of the story is; is at the beginning or the end of the trilogy?

I think there's a fourth game. I went on youtube, looked up prince of persia 4, and it had a demo of the game.

I'm pretty sure that is the 2008 game. You need to search Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands to find the new one that is the movie connection.

Oh my GOSH! I saw it last night, twice, and THAT GUY IS SO STINKING ADORABLE! He's my new favourite desert monkey (Because really, I was reminded of Diddy from Donkey Kong XP) he's SO awesome! And HOW GOOD WAS THE TIME-WARP?! Seriously! And my GOSH he likes to get hurt, doesn't he? And then it's like THE PRINCESS, I hate her, but DASTY RAWKED! Oh gosh, he's so uber hawt that it's just wrong lol, the film was bloody brilliant, I love that part where he's talking to his brother and then the sticky stick sticking with the knife-knife...I actually went WHAT?!!! And I was sort of hoping that the Princess would turn out to be evil but OH WELL! But it's weird because I recognized so many of the actors....creepy XP He's just so cute...I like his brother as well (NOT THE KING KING BROTHER THE OTHER ONE!) I wanna watch it again XP

You know, that part where Dasten (looove his name, it sounds so...epic..XP) is in the castle/palace/whathaveyou and he's holding the knife to his brothers' throat and he says that he wants to talk to him alone so when they're alone he like, talks and then stabs himself and the brother uses the dagger to rewind and stop him from doing that. Oh my gosh that was so epic, I actually got WAY surprised at that bit and was all like "WHOA! Didn't see THAT coming!" XP

I love that part! Saw it coming though just like kit.
