 Blood SacrificeOOC: Anyone can join, but stay active.
IC: Savania heard an odd crash in the distance, it was as if someone, or something jus smashed against the ground. She flung her head up and sniffed the air, it smelt oddly like humans. Letting out a yawn and forcing the iron she used as a small tent away from her, she took off into the air. She hadn't had much adventure lately, and just felt like exploring the empire, and see if there was anything worth doing. She knew that eventually something, rather it be Crimson, Dsurion, Galbatorix, or some other monstrosity would find her. She leapt into the air and soared eastwards. The sun reflecting off her deep silver scales. She looked towards the direction of the rising sun, it was oddly hot for being the morning of the day. Around her signs of life were all over. She snapped a large falcon out of the sky and crushed it under her powerful jaws. She looked down and saw a herd of prancing gazelle, but didn't go after them, she would hunt later. The odd summer morning heat struck against her scales. Though it didn't affect her much, she was sure other creatures would think the strange heat almost Surda like in this part of the empire in this time of day. In the distance, a strange sight caught her eye. She changed her angle slightly and soared in that direction. What the... Savania flew towards what looked like a distempered tree. Its bark lay strewn across the grass, and odd wooden prongs were set up everywhere. While landing something struck her leg. It imbedded itself in her leg scales and strapped around her. She let out a roar and wooden chains came from the destroyed chains and wrapped around her wings, tail, and the rest of her body. She tried to bend them, but was unable because they had no metal. Who's there! Let me out! she demanded, but she didn't hear or see anyone. Re: Blood Sacrifice Arrow stopped running. Wind ravaged past him but otherwise he made no sound. What was that? he thought he'd heard something. Like roaring. Dragon roaring? A dragon in distress ...
With a sweep of his hand and only a small twitch of thought, he roughly changed his grey skin colour to more tan, though it still appeared grey in sunlight, as always. It should've been enough as it normally proved to be. He sprung up into the branch of a tree and leapt forward, tree-to-tree, branch-to-branch. Every movement was hushed before he suddenly stopped, hunkering over the branch. Below him he spotted a silvery dragon entangled in a very durable looking net. She was snarling and fidgeting angrily, trying to break free but it was obvious to any witness that there was no way she'd be able to do so alone. Arrow grinned and fell to the ground, more agile than an elf. "Well, well, well ..." he smirked, inspecting the wire netting more closely. "What do we have here? Care for some help, sweetheart? Looks like you need it." He winked. _________________

Re: Blood Sacrifice Morena was enjoying a nice walk in the woods, with flowers springing up as she sang, and birds accompanying her when she heard a sound that ruined her day. What is a dragon doing here? She wondered. Morena walked to where she could see the dragon. She didn't like dragons, but when one was trapped as this one was she was willing to help. Morena sang the notes of her call, and wood eating creatures came to help her. She directed them to the trap, and they charged it, and started devouring the wood trap. "Are you all right dragoness?" Morena asked in her musical voice, while attempting to keep contempt out of her voice. Morena walked over, while watching the dragon carefully, and tried to break the wood that the wood devouring creatures were weakening. "This is strong wood." Morena said. She looked at the... whatever he was and asked; "Do you have something sharp to cut this with? or even magic would work I suppose." Morena looked back at the dragoness and asked, "Is it any looser? Are you wounded anywhere?" For a short moment Morena forgot her hate for dragons as she tried to help this one.

Re: Blood Sacrifice Savania looked up and noticed a elf like creature, though he looked more powerful and agile than an elf, along with a human that came towards her. Savania snarled slightly but when they seemed like they going to help her she stopped.
So I take it it wasn't you who set this trap. she said. She looked at the elf like creature, wondering why he called her sweetheart, but replied, Yes, I need help. I could get out myself, but there's no metal for me to bend. she complained stubbornly. Yeah, it's more loose, thanks. What are your names anyway? Mines Savania. she told them. Do any of you two have an idea on who set this? She sniffed the air, she could smell humans, and more than one. Re: Blood Sacrifice Arrow watched in surprised as the human sang for small wood creatures to gnaw away at the tree. "No, I didn't put the net here, why would I do that?" Arrow pulled a blank face and rubbed his chin.
He beamed a smile though and stretched, crossly both hands behind his head before announcing to both the strangers, "I'm called Arrow, and I'm going to be King of the most respected warriors in the land!" A flicker of thought detected Bow, but he wasn't close. In fact, he was back at their camp miles away. Oh well, Arrow thought, he can sleep. I'm just investigating here, nothing else. He paced around the net. It may have been looser, but the fibres still weren't broken. "It seems to be made of some really tough and terribly flexible material. I'm not even sure if it's metal. How are we going to ..." He hesitated when he saw the dragoness sniffing and in a matter of time, he thought he could hear footsteps hundreds of feet away. Human footsteps? "We have to hurry, I think someone's coming ... I could be wrong ..." _________________

Re: Blood Sacrifice "I am Morena. I have no idea who placed this trap here. Obviously someone who is hunting or testing you." One wooden band snapped, and the creatures moved to another place. "Do you smell someone or something?" Morena asked, starting to feel uneasy. Morena sang something to one of the wood eating creatures, and it sped away, only to return a moment later, and report to her. "My little friend tells me that a group of human soldiers belonging most likely to this land's king--whoever he may be--are nearby, and coming this way." Morena's musical voice was like a melody proclaiming something dark, and mysterious, and something that she hated. A second part of the trap snapped, and Morena moved on to the next with her woodland animal friends. She hoped that the wood eaters would be able to eat Savania free in time to deal with the people nearby.

Re: Blood Sacrifice Savania managed to break free from the trap once the had weakened it down a bit. The woods snapped against her scales and she gave a low growl of happyness.
As far as I know only one person is trying to hunt me down, but he wouldn't use traps, he'd attack me right on and try to kill me. Savania told Morena. She descided not to tell them about Crimson. The longer they didn't know of that devil the better. Savania shivered just thinking of him. Crimson sent shiveres down her spine. She had never seen a man that evil. She pearcked her head up and sniffed the air, You two are right... humans are coming, and a lot of them, we have to get out of here. she looked around and made sure everyone was ready. She could also her something in the distance, like the sound of screaming... Morena was starting to regain her dislike for dragons, and was finding the whole situation rather annoying. "Where do you want to go?" She asked the dragon after calming herself.

Re: Blood Sacrifice Savania shook her head at the human, she could tell the human hated dragons. Savania found it odd though, she had only known a dragon that hated humans, never the other way around.
Sorry, I will not ask any more stupid question oh wise human. she said sarcastically. She didn't mean to be rude, but she didn't like it when anyone was trying to sound all arrogant, she realized that was a hypocritical statement, but didn't care, Morena nor Arrow didn't have to know Savania let her powers get to her head. I say we head for the screams, it could be anything. she sniffed the trap, an odd scent came from it. It was human, she knew that much. What ever made this is not an ordinary human. Now if you two want to come follow me, the screams are this way. Dsurion flew above them, he had noticed Savania in the distance, but flew so high he would only appear to be a teal bird. He wanted to kill his sister, but he had to see what she was up to. Crimson assigned him on a mission of great importance, he had to complete even is the silver pain in the but was nearby. He saw to others, but couldn't make out who they were. He flew in closer to see who they were, he contorted the space around him so they would see nothing when he flew down. He didn't recognize any of the two. He flew back up and uncomforted the air. What ever it is, I hear screaming. Re: Blood Sacrifice Morena followed Savania towards the screams, but felt as if they were heading for a trap. Living among animals for practically all her life Morena had picked up many of their characteristics, and wariness. Morena looked at the dragon, and wondered if she should warn her of the feelings of a trap ahead. Morena decided against it, or at least to wait until they were closer to the source of the screams. Morena reached out her mind a little ways, and quickly drew it back. "There is something out there." she said. "Something other than the screams, and it's source."
