I just thought of something form that guy's post. Look,what if we created a game, a Eragon game. Which is massive online adventure game and they will need to get a dragon.First,they will always start with a standard dragon.As they are higher level, they make more money and buy more new dragons. There is a place for players to fight one another,using magic powers,their draogns,swords,bows and arrows...
what do you think of that?

I think you have too many dragons involved. And going to store just for changing your dragon is weird

true, but a runescape or world of warcraft style mmorpg game for eragon would be fun, where certain people would be dragon riders when they begin the game, or when they find eggs in the wilderness or stuff like that, while other people are just warriors, that would be really cool

Nope it won't be fair. You know first buy first collect the eggs and first go on rampage with his dragon. For MMORPG there is one neccesary thing-balance

balence is good but i play world of warcraft and an eragon game like it would so totally rule

true, i hadn't thought of that, but itd be like, 1:50 ratio of those getting eggs to those not, and others would have to find eggs to become riders. it would be cool though

it still be even if every one had the POSSIBILITY of findiing an egg though

they would, it'd be kind of like a holy grail quest, stumble around until you find one in forests, caves, deserts, etc. you could go on quests to get them, or something

the downside is how long would it take u to find and egg? 1 month of playing? 2?

not all would find eggs, there would be very few, so most people would just have to be normal warriors or magicians or whatever

i think if they dont find one at some point there will be like a goal set that if u dont find one by that time u auto find

It will take long time because it's always nice to make money on such a things. Blizzard can say

they need to make it so kids can pay for not have adults so that the adults cant treaton taking it away and stuff

if everyone who didn't have a dragon egg was given one, having one wouldn't be special

If you couldn't have a dragon egg, I wouldn't play the game. At the start, maybe there could be an intermission sequence of your father giving you the egg and it hatches for you, and you get to name it and everything. You can join the Varden or Galbatorix, and it would be a massive game; I'd play that.

and the issue of Riders rampaging and stuff, Riders would maybe have to be good, and if they werent, all the other riders would oppose them.

that is, unless there were none to oppose them because they were all bad...

hey thats a good idea u get a dragon egg u choose witch side, and u can explore and battle others on the oppite side

yes, and non-riders would be warriors, traders, magicians, etc, and if a person was a sorcerer wasn't careful, they would be controlled by spirits and would lose control of their character. if riders went bad, all the good riders and warriors would oppose them.

idk if ther should be non riders? sorccers and shades yea

i guess u could choose not to be but most people would be a rider

you wouldn't chose to, if you didn't find an egg or weren't given one they wouldn't be riders

well.... i think everyone should have a high chance of getting an egg tho

there would have to be some part f the game you would have to beat to get an egg, and whatever it is it should be difficult to achive, that way you would have to work you way up to be a rider

hmm well i dont know how to go into much detail without not nowing like a basic story line your charactor would be doing.... whould he be following arount with eragon helping him out, or would you be arount during the fall? either way i guess it would have to be some type of quest you player would have to go on or something of the sort

umm idk lol... what do you want me to write out a whole storyline for the game for ya...( on second though... i want to become a game programmer/ writer are a future job lol) .... anyways.... i would say alone cuase if you did it together then the other person would have to get an egg as well....

same here expecially if it had graphics and as many things to do like in the elder scrolls oblivion. That game has so much stuff to do and make it like that and put it into alegasia and dragon riders and shades and stuff like that... That would be the most incredible game ever made lol!!!

i dunno what it is abou WoW... maybe i never played it much .... anyways i never seemed to enthused about that game....well what do you thingk the story line should be like. Would you rather folow along side by side with eragon, or would you kind of be at the same time as him, but kinda working on your own quests, or be a rider during the time of the fall?

i dont think you should start out as a rider though.... i just thought of something... what if there were different difficulties you would have to start at like first you just start out as a regular human soldier,then when you beat that you can be like an urgal or dwarf, then as you beat that you could be a shade, and then finally if you beat that you can be a rider... each difficulty has different quests and what not and you can chose to be good or evil will playing.... making your own choices shos what side your really on.

another way this game could work is firstly chose to be a human or an elf then as you proceed in the many story line you eventually find an egg and become a rider. There can also be side quests and stories to make the game longer I think think this way would be best if it was gunna be like a mmorpg or something...

if i were to make a game like this id have to mage ton of spells and ways to use your magic... thats always been a big thing of mine in any game.. also so many defferent typea of armor weapons and ways to costomize them to your liking would make it so almost that no person would look exactly the same.

yea ive always been like that and ive always waited for a game that had all this in it but i never seen one how i would really want it to be... i would have to use something kinda taken from the game fable, i dunno if you ever palyed it but they way they use for you to increase you strenth and stamina and kneledge of spells is you spend your experience point you gained in combat or from quest to advance in that particular attribute. I would deffinately come up with something along these lines cuase to me it seemed to work very well

yea this game would deffinately be a hit for people who love the inheritence series as well for people who dont like it as much. what ever company would come up with an idea like this would be like the next bungie studios.

yea when i get the money to hire a whole line of artists to develop my landscape and 3d animators and a bunch of other stuff... well sure ill design it... now i just need some1 to lend me a couple million and im good to go

thats an idea yes.... but i think it would work out better onced i was hired in the company... i think they would pay alot more attention to me dont ya think?

ok iguess that works lol... well i guess all i can do is keep that idea in mind for about 45 or 6 six till im old enough to be hired by a company like that, or maybe there will be like some odd compition where a company will ask the public to send in ideas for a game in like a competion or something

that'd be awesome if they asked for ideas for a game, but i doubt it'd happen, they never do stuff like that

yea i know... well thers still a chance they could make a game like this, we just dont know if it will meet some of our expectations... well expecially mine cuase i think i game like this, if made correctly would have great potential

Well i got to go throght me senior year and then 4 years of college... then its all about getting hired and if there up for taking ideas. Then build from there i guess. I dunno right now it sounds so farfetched but it could happen
