OOC: Are you back, Star, or do you still have computer problems? (Hoping for former!) lol

IC: Phalynx tore another mouthful of feathers from the giant bird, and then kicked it away fiercely with her hind legs. The huge raptor, or Roc as she believed they were called, fell through the clouds and out of sight. Phalynx breathed a sigh of relief, happy that the fierce creature had not injured her worse. Its powerful and sharp beak had torn a large gash across the side of her neck, which was bleeding profusely. Phal knew she would have to find a spot to rest and heal it or the loss of blood would drain her energy and she wouldn't be able to fly home.

Phalynx had decided to fly out further than usual from shore, wondering what she'd find. She had seen a large disturbance in the natural magic far out to sea, and had been going to investigate before she had been attacked by the giant bird. Such exotic creatures were not native to Alagaesia, so seeing one even this close was odd. The one that had attacked her had prevented her from actually looking through the clouds to see what the magical disturbance was. Now, however, seemed like the perfect time to do so.

Phal dropped swiftly through the cloud cover, wanting to see with her normal sight what things looked like. She was mildly surprised to see an island below her; obviously being concealed with magic. She was very surprised, however, to see her friend Reb on the beach below. The Roc lay less than a hundred yards away from her, and Phal was relieved to see she hadn't been injured by the sudden crashing bird.

The silver dragoness flew immediately down to the beach, eager to see her friend. She hadn't seen Reb for quite some time, and had begun to wonder where she went. But now that question was answered and more pressing matters could be delved into, like why Reb had left.

Reb! It's so good to see you! I'm sorry about that Roc, I'll get rid of it later. It attacked me above the clouds there. What are you doing here? Where's Star Gazer? Phal suddenly felt like a hatchling again, a little embarrassed by the stream of questions, but she couldn't help but ask them. She was only two years old, after all. Phal landed on the sand near Reb and moved over to her eagerly.

OOC: Would it be alright if i joined up, or is this for a specific group?

OOC: Welcome to the rp, Kit. I'll take my turn now, shall I?

IC: Phal smiled and inclined her head. I know you probably wanted some peace here. That's what it seems like anyway, seeing how isolated this island is. Unfortunately it's kind of hard to find any sort of peace these days, Phal said apologetically.

I've missed you, back in Alagaesia. Though, I suppose everyone deserves a rest, right? How have you been? the silver dragoness inquired with interest. She was eager to find out how things were going for one of her favorite riders.

OOC: I hope it is alright if I join...


IC:Anthor and Gornath had been enjoying a long rest in the many islands around Alagesia when their mental likn with Kit and Shyara suddenly went blank, it was like they had disappeared off the face of the earth, Anthor quickly told Gornath, " You must fly fast while I can still tell the direction that Kit and Shyara had ben flying in." Gornath flew as fast as he could because he knew that dragons and riders don't just dissappear. They arrived at the place that Kit and Shyara's link had stopped and it was an island with a large castle on it. They landed and made a hasty bow and said, "Have you seen a human rider named Kit and a dragon named Shyara?" They also said "Hi!" to Phalynx and to the shady looking woman that seemed to know Phal.

A queen of dragons?, and a shade as a rider, I would not believe it if I weren't seeing it.Thought Gornath, he went over to welcome the shade rider, Who would be your partner-of-mind-and-body? What would be the name of this island, and this fortress for that matter? Gornath began to walk over toward Reb, and sniffed, he smeled wolves, and a stallion.

Anthor went and formally greeted Reb, he introduced himslef, "Hello, my name is Anthor, rider of Gornath. Where do you come from, and why have you chosen this plac as your home?"

OOC: Short..

OOC: Veonth, why don't you go before me THIS ONE TIME, because I kinda need my question to Star answered before I can decide what Shyara says.

OOC: Well, I really have nothing to say, what was your question?

Shyara spoke up, this interested her very much, So, how long has everyone lived at this mountain castle? And who all is part of the Royal Family?

OOC: Short, but I'm still working on Shyara's lineage.

OOC: No response to Phal and Star's replies, voenth? Whether or not Gornath believes them yet?

OOC: Hes kinda between a rock & a hard place, if he says he believes them, then he is conttradicting himself, which shuts out his pride, if he says no hes out of the rp.

OOC: Whoops, forgot the order for a moment! My bad!

IC: Phalynx nodded as Star relayed the names of the main Royal Family members. Oh, and Emrhyst and Aelir recently had a child as well, she added to the end. Star Gazer is descended from the ruling dragons of Alagaesia, it's been in her blood for many millenia. Faefnir is king because he is Star's mate and because of his prestige he is held in high esteem. Because I am his half-sister, I am also part, she said, thinking about the lineage in Dragon Mountain. She knew little of the actual family, but she did know something of it's history.

I believe the Dragon Mountain was established not long after the different dragon races, our separate colors, joined together and proclaimed themselves under one rule. I'm currently living near another of our ancient cities, though no one lives there now, she continued, hoping to enlighten the others as best as she could, Despite the history involved, it's not surprising most of us have forgotten in our time of chaos brought about by Galbatorix. Soon we will remember.

OOC: I'm going to bring in Ecivres, because to make the timeline for Shyara's knowledge of her lineage to work, he need to already exist. But for the most part they are going to sit off to the side listening for this first little bit. Ecivres is just barely able to talk, so he isn't that big.

IC: Ecivres had caught his fill of food from the ocean and went back to the surface to find the others. His link with Shyra had gone out, but he figured it was due to the water and distance, but now he knew it wasn't. He was catching small pieces of it and went in that direction, he couldn't see anything ahead of him, but suddenly an island was at his feet and his friends and family were too, and also a rider and dragon he didn't recognize. He landed beside Shyara and introduced himself, Hello, I'm Ecivres, Shyra's dragon.

Hi, back so soon, we're just discussing somethings. She turned back to Star and Phalynx, That is really neat, I have no idea who my parents were, except what I can remember from inside my shell which isn't much. I know during a terrible storm my parents left, then never returned. From best I can tell, I was in my egg for seven thousand years before Kit found me. I think my mother's name started with a 'R' or something, I doubt you'd be able to recall anyone with that name from that long ago would you? I mean Phal is just younger than me, so I guess that was directed to you Star?

OOC: I'm going to assume Phal knows of her family's (including Star's) past by now. lol

IC: Phalynx listened to Star as she spoke. She remembered this story, and it pained her to know that at the time when her friend was in trouble, she was curled contentedly away in her egg. She regretted having not hatched earlier to help her friends and family, but she knew that she could not, and would not change the past. She was in her egg for such a long time so that her powers could develop, there was nothing lazy about that. Especially not considering her life now.

Phal laughed at Reb's comment to the short retelling. You did put that rather eloquently, Star. I was sure you'd mention at least some of the intriguing details, she laughed.

Now, I don't remember any dragons with a name beginning with "R," but I know several who might, including Star if we can jog her memory, Phal said quietly to Shyara. She wanted to help the dragoness find out her parents, and realized she was lucky to even know who hers were.

"Hmm, I don't know maby seeing the island fortress would help." Said Anthor with a perplexed look on his face. "Gornath and myself could lead you there, Phalynx and Kit and Shyara have been there. We have a colony of white and a colony of green dragons living there." Said Anthor as he and Gornath began their preperations to leave.

Gornath went over to Star Gazer and Reb and said, You may one day want to know where it is, it is also very ancient, it is likely it will jog your memories. It was once an ancient city for white dragons.

OOC: Sorry for the short post..........

Phalynx followed Gornath and Anthor to Sharktooth, and surveyed the tunnels with her sight. She remembered the events that had first led her into those tunnels, and was reminded of her vision.

Phal shook her head, and watched as Gornath talked to a white and green dragon. She waited patiently until he was finished, and then approached him. Gornath, how long are we going to be staying her? If you don't mind, I'd like to go back down into the tunnels and make a small inspection, she requested.

OOC: Hey, I realized something. How can the colony be on Sharktooth, but Shyara doesn't know she's related to Phal yet? She knew when they were clearing out this island.

OOC: Never thought of that, umm... well ... idk. Have to ask him.

OOC: Blood Feud, This one, was made two weeks before the Sharktooth one was made, so it is in fact, Veonth who is in the wrong by saying that he has an island there. If you don't believe me check the date on both of the first posts

OOC: K then act like I didn't post it and we are still on the first island, I don't feel like nor will I edit.

OOC: Okey dokey then. So it's now your turn, Kit.

OOC: @ Kit, i just remembered, I may not be wrong, just becasue one RP is older than the other dosn't mean that the setting and the time it is acted out is older. So, I unless Star has a set time for this, I am not wrong.

OOC: That's true, voenth, but for the sake of simplicity let's just say that we're still on the first island and this takes place before A New Home, 'cause Shyara is gonna find out her relation to Phal in this rp and that needs to happen before A New Home. So yeah, Kit's turn, still on island: GO!

OOC: Okay, and Veonth it is not only a privilege, but also your responsibility to edit when you make a mistake.

IC: So, does anyone have any ideas at all? Shyara rushed through her ideas, then said, What about Faefnir, he should know shouldn't he?

OOC: Sorry it is short, but can't do a whole lot. Oh and I just realized to that Veonth's not the only with a mixed up timeline, i got one to, Ecivres is alot younger, so I'll go back and edit that.

OOC: lol, lots of continuity errors. Sorry if this is confusing you, Star, you can ignore it. lol

OOC: Okay we are still on your island, Ecivres's age isn't a big deal, so don't worry about that. Um, Shyara's trying to find out about her parents, and she just asked about Faefnir.
Does that make it easier to understand at all?

OOC: Well, hopefully this should help.

IC: Phal nodded to Shyara. There is a very good chance that Faefnir will know. He's been around for quite a long time, and there's no telling who he's known, Phal said cheerfully. She glanced around. Shall we go to try and find him? she suggested, Have you seen him often since you moved here, Star?

OOC: i guess we are kinda stuck till Star replies, so I pass. Should I PM ILS and ask him to step in for little bit?

OOC: Yeah, go ahead. If he can't join then we can always go to the Fortress and look through his records. lol.

OOC: I think it is Veonth's turn and ILS said that he's got stuff going on, so we should go ahead and search through the Fortress.

OOC: I thought I was after you, Kit?? Is it my turn?

OOC: I skipped my turn, and Veonth is now gone for a week, I guess we can skip his turn. so that would make it Star's turn again

OOC: hey Star, You've been gone a while, and this one has turned out to be an important part of my charries history, so me and the others will move things along so my charry history can be in place, when you do get back on, you can take the reins again and we can figure out why this is call 'Blood Feud'.

So, Draco or Veonth, which ever one of you gets on first can go ahead and post and we'll just make a new order
