Cy Ara
~Under Construction~
[ Cy Ara | Seventeen | Female | Pure-Blooded Allatik ] “La Ti Ni, Ni Ti La”
Race Information: The Allatik’s are a race of unique elementalists ‘birthed by the earth and nurtured by beasts’. Spiritually, the Allatik’s have had a longer and stronger connection with the earth and its animal inhabitants than most, if not all, other races. Allatik’s are bearers of elemental powers and gifted a Guardian to protect and guide them.
ALLATIK LEGEND: [COMING SOON]
IMPORTANT FACTS: - Allatik’s and Guardians can sense the aura of any living thing. Because of this, Allatik’s hadn’t a need for last names, though some preferred them. - Every Allatik is born with a birthmark, depicting their animal Guardian. The placement of this Mark has not proven importance and is random. But the shape and/or theme differs per Guardian. - It is a natural fear for Allatik’s to feel confined or claustrophobic. Many fear the underground, caves, small nooks, or crowds. - Every Allatik has an animal companion, or a Guardian, that makes up for what they lack spiritually, physically, mentally, or emotionally. - Guardian’s are chosen by destiny, as the Allatik’s believe. One cannot simply imprint on another soul - it happens when destiny has it written that it shall, and Allatik’s, for the most part, accept that. - Guardian’s and Allatik’s have telepathic powers. A Guardian’s telepathic power allows them to speak with any human, but only they can hear their Allatik’s thoughts. Allatik’s cannot speak telepathically with other Allatik’s, only Guardians (unless in Release). - If an Allatik were to lose a Guardian, or vise versa, it would feel as if a hole was ripped through their chest and they lived to tell about it. The heart is where the spiritual connection truly binds the two souls. Once one is ripped away, one may become happy once more, but will never be able to feel whole again. - A split connection is when a Pure-Blooded Allatik imprints on not just one Guardian, but two. This is extremely rare, for only Pure-Blooded Allatik’s have this spiritual capability and not many Pure-Bloods remain today. - Pure-Bloods can also perform a special ability known as ‘Release’ that can only be unleashed when near their Guardian. - Despite mutual respect in the Allatik culture, women hold all the power. Men, by nature, treat them with the utmost respect and chivalrous actions. - Allatik’s and Guardian’s can feel what each other feels when their minds pathways are open, so when one is hurt, the other one will know instantaneously, and feel the same pain. - Every Allatik is linked with a specified element. - Something in the Allatik’s DNA causes them to look young for a very long time. This could have something to do with ‘Rejuvenation’, which all Allatik’s have access to from birth. - Every Allatik has access to the skills ‘Release’ and ‘Disembodiment’ once they’ve imprinted with their animal Guardian. - An Allatik’s eyes are usually - 9/10 - the opposite symbolized color of their primary element, but this, in very few situations, is not the case: Element: Air ------- Eye Color: Green/Hazel/Brown Element: Fire ------- Eye Color: Blue Element: Water ------- Eye Color: Red/Orange Element: Earth ------- Eye Color: Silver/Grey Secondary Elements: Element: Poison ------- Eye Color: White/Creamy Vanilla Element: Healing ------- Eye Color: Lavender Element: Darkness ------- Eye Color: Electric/Neon Hues, normally yellow Element: Lightening ------- Eye Color: Dark hues, normally black.
CY ARA’S TIMELINE: Cy Ara is a hotheaded Allatik, a race in which nurtures the earth and its creatures and vice versa. Fighting nightmares since the death of her family, Cy Ara was orphaned at the age of eleven.
Long before she was even born, Lukia Ursl had been an ever-growing threat to the world. He is the one responsible for her having to constantly move around for safety and for losing the first important years of her life - her childhood, right out the window. Lukia Ursl, for some unknown reason, harbored a keen hatred for the Allatik people. And thusly, his mission in life was to bring forth the extinction of all Allatik’s.
When she was eleven, her family – mother, father, brother, and sister – were all brutally murdered right before her as they ran for their lives through the woods near Kuasta. By sheer luck, she escaped into the trees. Finding her way into some low-lying mountains, Cy Ara was stumbled upon by Siberia, a great white wolf. Without realizing, they’d both imprinted and instantly bonded as Guardian and Allatik.
Cy Ara is reckless, clumsy, and emotional. Siberia was motherly, sophisticated, and loving. The moment their paths crossed, destiny set its course for the pair.
Siberia raised Cy Ara for years, teaching and training her - the best a wolf could - to be able to protect herself. Siberia helped her through some of her most troubling times, including her nightmares and waves of depression from the death of her family. Living and working together, they began to know each other and predict each other. It was as if they were slowly becoming one being.
Together, as they traveled the land and kept mostly to themselves, they had to repeatedly go into hiding from Lukia Ursl, a roach who seemed to be everywhere they were. Lukia and his next in command, Malaktai, hunted Cy Ara and her people like savages, relentless in every thing they did. Even the Allatik’s Guardians, like Siberia, fell victim to Lukia’s wrath.
In Kuasta, the two accidentally separated and Cy Ara had made some new friends – Tyleek, Theldor, and Raitfier. Later on, Siberia returned to Cy Ara and she was able to witness Raitfier’s own reunion with his two Guardians.
Cy Ara and Siberia felt inseparable, even when they were tragically separated from each other for a long period of time. While Cy Ara and company were passing through the Hadarac Desert, they ran into an old enemy – Malaktai. After Malaktai revealed to them some of his true power, he retreated and left Tyleek and Cy Ara pretty banged up. Their plans were to rest, then head out as soon as possible.
Destiny, sadly, had other plans for the young heroes. Lukia Ursl arrived on the scene and murdered the great white wolf, Siberia.
Losing Siberia left Cy Ara in a tragic state that ninety-nine percent of Allatik’s can not overcome. Then and there, she vowed to kill Lukia Ursl no matter what with the help of her good friends Jia, Tyleek, Ka, and two newcomers known as Irlais and Xelin.
After the group went their own ways, Tyleek, Cy Ara, and Theldor traveled toward the town of Bullridge, Cy Ara full of anything but enthusiasm.
In Bullridge, the trio was stumbled upon by Raitfier, an old, obnoxiously loud, but funny, friend who Cy Ara had met back in Kuasta. After he was able to do what Tyleek could not – make her happy again – Cy Ara proceeded to cut all but a foot of her hair off, feeling as if she’d just cut away her past and sorrows. She felt partially revived.
After camping out in a cave with the boys for a few days, they witnessed a unique.. phone call from Irlais, the white-haired Allatik who would be leading them into this war. After giving them more information about what was happening and telling them the short story of the Legendary Trein, he said that in order to defeat Lukia, everyone needed to be at their maximum power.
They had to train as if their lives depended on it – and it did.
Dreams For The Future: For Lukia to perish a punishment worst than death. Reason For Dreams: Lukia Ursl is slowly causing the extinction of her people. To put it simply, he must die. Alignment/Side: Whatever the opposite of Lukia Ursl is; good
Physical Description: Her ebony locks have grown past her bottom, reaching even further when not in a ponytail or bun. Like all Allatik’s her skin is darker with a hint of kisses from the sun. She stands at 5’7’’ and her deep, ocean-blue eyes are sharp, quick, and observant. Usually barefoot because of her distaste for shoes, this allows her to be stealthy and nimble. Her thin clothing is usually skin tight and hued with dark colors, namely jet-black.
The belt around her waist wields multiple pouches, a sheathed dagger, and tiny hooks in which she hangs stringed fish or small animals when hunting. Since the death of Siberia, the wolf’s collar serves as another belt for Cy Ara, where she stores vitamins, her makeshift Joker-Balls, and natural foods like berries and nuts.
From the inside of her elbow down to her wrist where her crescent moon Guardianmark lies, there is a scar. There is another scar from an attack by Lukia Ursl a few years ago, running from her left shoulder, down her back, and around her right hip. They’re caramel in comparison to her skin tone.
Personality: In an attempt to hide her pain, most of the time, Cy Ara makes smart or mean comments, but not out of anger or cruelness. She has a tendency to be very sarcastic and may come across as crude or harsh, when deep down she’s a big softie and couldn’t hurt a fly – unless it kept flying around her face while she was sleeping. But with her iron will, she’s more than willing to take on any challenge.
With the instincts of a survivor by nature, she’s overly determined and stubborn as all get-out. She dislike’s crowds or groups of people unless they’re good friends. Though she is intelligent with decent enough common sense, like most women, she overthinks many things when they concern her.
Her heart is her biggest weakness – her fatal flaw. He whole life, she’s fought and wrestled with her emotionally troubled heart. She may not show it in public, or at all, but it isn’t hard to get under her skin or around her wall to cause her intense emotions.
Because of the pain and nightmares that have haunted her since the death of her family, she’s found it near impossible to connect with any other living soul, besides Siberia. But after meeting a certain ‘nature-boy’, her heart seems to have started playing a different tune.
Sadly, this was set back after Siberia’s death, when waves of depression and grief hit her consistently throughout the next week.
After running into Raitfier - an old friend – in Bullridge, Cy Ara began to recover quite quickly from the spiritual wound.
Likes: Fruit, nuts; setting things on fire; the colors white and blue. Dislikes: Most people; needless bloodshed; stinkbugs Fears/Weakness: Small, enclosed spaces make her claustrophobic; not being able to breathe; and losing her Guardian.
Birthplace: Llataki: The Land of the Allatik’s Parents: Juria [mother] and Fernak [father]; (both deceased; murdered by Lukia Ursl when Cy Ara was eleven) Siblings: Riley [young brother] and Yan [young sister]; (both deceased; murdered by Lukia Ursl when Cy Ara was eleven)
Weapons: Katana: With a silver hilt, this uniquely designed samurai sword’s blade is made of black ore with ancient Allatik scripture etched into each side. As far as Cy Ara can tell, theirs is nothing more special about the weapon.
Black Dagger: Nicknamed “Kuroken”, meaning ‘black blade’ in Japanese and Allatik, this dagger is similar to her Katana by wielding a black blade; the hilt on this weapon being black instead of silver. Preferring close range when attacking physically, Cy Ara will wield her dagger more often then her katana for the sake of not damaging the sacred and personal treasure.
Knived-Gloves: These elbow length black leather gloves rarely leave Cy Ara’s arms, each serving as not only an arm warmer, but a weapon as well. In the knuckles are tiny, arrowhead shaped knives that remained sheathed until Cy Ara makes a fist. Another reason these are one of her favorite weapons is that each glove has two slim pouches that serve as storage units for her ‘Koli (Col-eye) Orbs’. Each pouch holds various amounts of Koli and releases an orb by Cy Ara pulling the correct string with either her middle or index finger. There are four different types of Koli Orbs, and they are as followed: Bomb Kolis: These small little metal balls are stuffed with powder that explodes on impact. These Kolis are powerful enough to blast through a foot of concrete. Four can be stored at a time. Spiked Kolis: These orbs are made of metal as well, but unlike its brethren, are covered in inch-long spikes that are sheathed inside the ball until released from the pouch. Whether hitting someone or stepping on one, these orbs are a heck to face-off against. Ten can be stored at a time. Smoke Kolis: Explodes on impact, causing a large, thick smokescreen to emit that compromises vision and smell. Four can be stored at a time. Poison Kolis: Explodes on impact, like the Bomb Kolis, but causes a small poisonous, acid-like liquid to stain and eat away at anything it lands on that is weaker than steel. Three can be stored at a time.
Skills: Fire: Every element affects Allatik’s differently. A few moves that Cy Ara favors are ‘Spark’, where she snaps her fingers and creates a small flame in a specific spot; ‘Flaming Aim’, where she creates a bow and arrow made of fire and shoots literal flaming arrows at her victims. The arrow’s shape breaks, but the fire remains wild and unpredictable; and ‘Flying Fire’, where she can propel herself into the air using the momentum of shooting flames from her hands and/or feet. Another quirk to having the fire element is that heat does not affect Cy Ara at all, unless it has something to do with sickness and fever, etc. Release: Chanting “Bak Na Tal”, Allatik’s are able to perform this traditional act of connection and access the abilities of their Guardians. An Allatik’s appearance does change slightly when in this state and they are much more resistant to pain and injury, but are also much stronger and faster. Release allows, say Cy Ara for example, to tap into Siberia’s strength, speed, and agility because of her enhanced physical body. A downside is that the longer you stay in Release, the harder it is to control it. Many Allatik’s practice this technique until they perfect it by being able to stay in Release for days, if need be. Rejuvenation: More like an inborn feature than a skill, Rejuvenation allows Allatik’s to look young for most of their lives. But other than setting a fashion statement, this power allows for all Allatik’s to revive or ‘heal’ vegetation (dying trees, flowers, grass, etc). Unless they are of the earth element, only talented and well-practiced Allatik’s are able to create plant life. This seems to be exceptionally hard for fire wielders. Disembodiment: Like Release, this skill allows Allatik’s to take on their Guardian’s abilities and powers. But Disembodiment takes it a step further and physically, mentally, and spiritually bonds an Allatik with their Guardian(s) after speaking the chant, ‘Ka ma’k te’. Disembodiment allows the spiritual connection between an Allatik and his or her Guardian to deepen so thoroughly, that their bodies merge and become one entity - two souls in one body. And though their minds combine as well, it is the Allatik commanding the Guardian’s body.
