Post wat do u think?
my friend just gave me a story to read and it depressed me so. it was about a dog who was loved by his master. then the master got married and had kids. but the master got a new job so he had to move and dogs were not allowed. so he took the dog to the shelter. the dog never got a new home so the lady came to put him to sleep and the last thing he said was "how could you?" that was the name of the story: How Could You? it was the saddest thing i ever heard and im still crying about it.

if you ever get a dog, make sure you can take care of it. and if you have to move and cant bring it with, try to get it a good home before you take it to the shelter cuz shelters are gettng more and more cramped cuz people keep getting animals but never take care of them so they turn them in. thats just awful.

wat do you think??

For goodness sake, a dog. I really hate things like this, I'm sure it was a very touching story, and had a moral, I'm not insulting the story or you or your friend, but... did you know that each year, more money is donated to animals than humans in desperate need of it? People complain about, oh this poor little puppy was left on the street and beaten up and had to scavenge in dumpsters for food. What they don't realise, is that there are thousands of little kids that go through the same thing every day, but oh no, of course the little dog matters more than these poor abandoned 5 year olds riddled with poverty and disease.

well, excuse me!!! i feel the same! in my opinion, if america would stop spending so much money on the war and spend it towards those needy children, then we could be alright! also, tons of food are thrown out everyday from the food stores. so why not take the food and give it to the homless shelter!? if its a canned good or somehing, it would still be good! and if it were produce, it would still be good for that day! believe me! im the type of person who wants to stop this!!!!

Yeah, same lol (as you can, erm... see.) But yeah, that sounds like a really sad story, and it's pathetic when people get animals, and don't even bother to look after them  Makes you wonder why they wanted one if they won't look after it.

for some readon this makes me think of this story i read in Reader's Digest. it made me so mad.
This couple had a baby who was born with a deficiency in her bones, but they didnt know it.
They took her to the doctor one day and he X-ray and found she had a lot of broken bones. so the docotrs automatically assumed they were abbusing her, so they took the baby away.
She was put in a foster home where she got awful care, they didnt even change her diaper but the foster care people wouldnt do anything about it.
They never got to see her for like... 2 years i think it was.
there was no evidence to prove they were abusing her, but they wouldnt let them have her back.
FINALLY they let her go back after the mother convinced them to run a test for this particular bone definciency.

of topic i guess but.. lol

 Both stories were really sad...i've heard of stuff like that puppy thing before. Still doesn't make me feel any better about, just cuz i've heard bout it before. It ticks me off!
That thing with the baby is bullcrap! How can they just take away a baby with no proof? So hopelessly flawed are some people :(

thats why im crying!!!!! its that nobody does anything about it! it just goes to show you that nobody has any natural affection anymore.

about that baby, thats sad! and stupid! they cant decide anything without some proof.

^ Your pretty emotional about this, considering you have 'your pain makes me smile :D ' in your sig...

My parents left me when I was a few months old at a home in Germany here, and as far as I know there wasnt an actual reason for them to do so. There are 21 other kids that live here with me, and they all either were found, dropped off, or came here themselves. It is mean what some people do o their kids and what some people asume people are doing to their kids, but depending on their age, they can stick up for themselves if they have to. That baby wouldnt have been able to tell the people that they loved their parents or that the people were being mean to him/her, but others have voices, they can speak up.

I know so many sad stories, it's all around in my local news. I can share one of two of them, if you don't mind reading.

1. A mother with 4 wonderful children lived in one town while her husband works in another region. They was quite a wealthy family, but the husband got fired and got another job that not as good as his previous job, therefore their life was on anticlimax. Desperate, the mother "put her children to sleep" (meaning she killed them all, if you don't get), and then she killed herself. She wrote a will to her husband, she said "I'm going to heaven, I take the children with me." Yup, in the end she perhaps hallucinating.

2. A nut crazy and poor living mother gave birth to his child all alone. After giving birth, she kill her newborn and roast it and EAT some with rice. It's inhuman, I'm sorry if I make you sick but it really happened.

and many more...

===

btw,, we don't have much abandoned dogs in the neighborhood, only cats, yes. (I'm not sure, but I guess if there are wandering dogs here, some people will capture them and cook them. But they don't do cats, so we have plenty of cats on the street) I took one or two homeless kittens, and pet them. But it was a disaster, because my husband hates cats. So one day, I need to returned them back to the street :(

There's a song I heard about this guy who meet a few disabled people throughout a day without realizing at first and the final line of it is "Blessed indeed, the world is mine". That is so true for some of us....Sad, but true.
