Ranog and Urson had been relaxing in the city watchign some young dwarven children play, when all of a sudden a monsterous earthquake rocked the city to its foundations. The lava spewed from the top of the mountain they were on. Ranog quickly mounted Urson and began to tell everyone in the streets, "Flee to Farthen Dur, Flee to Farthen Dur!" He saw Kit ans Shyara go to stop the magma before it reached the city, he also saw the monsterous red(?) dragon appear. He could not believe the insult toward his people when the dragon roared, fear me. He wheeled Urson toward the dragon and began to gallop in its direction. He readied his heavy throwing spear. When he judged that he was close enough the hurled the spear with all his might.

Voenth and Braith were training with some dwarven spell-casters when one cried out with a cry so great that it scared Braith. The dwarf said, "Have any of you heard of the demi-god Arkel?" Both Voenth and Braith said, "No, who is he?" The elderly dwarf answered, "Many years ago before th dwarves were even created, the evil demi-god Arkel terrorized any and everything in his path, there were none to stop him, even the mighty dragons fled before him. Untill one day he became too powerful, he became a threat to the gods, they were unable to strip him of his powers. They were howevver able lock him away inside one of these the Beor mountains. That is why we, the dwarves live here, we are here, to stop him and to finally rid the world of this evil!"

Anthor and Gornath were on their way form Ellesmera to theirhome on Sharktooth when Voenth messaged them he said, Hurry to Farthen Dur, it seems that an evil demi-god has escaped what was suppost to be his eternal prison, and the dwarves are on their way to meet him and fight him. Anthor and Gornath immediately turned around and flew faster than ever had been heard of to Farthen Dur.

OOC: Just to make sure you know, Arkel isn't a demi-god, and he isn't evil and he was trapped there a couple of hundred thousand years before Dwarves showed up. you don't have to edit it, I'm just making sure you knew that, legends do tend to spring up. And I'm going to wait for one or two more people before I post again.

Ha hahahahaha!!! I LOVE LAVA!!!! a rather small voice shouted at the top of her lungs. Solarae dove and spun through the exploding mountain's debris. She jumped right into a boiling lake of the molten rock and savored the heat.

It was in her joyous play that she suddenly came face-to-face with the most gigantic dragon she had ever seen. Woah, dude you're large, she said, grinning. Hovering directly in front of his face, she could have sat on the tip of his nose. I am Solarae, and thank you for making this mountain blow up; it's awesome, she stated simply, grinning. Her fiercely long canine teeth gleamed red in a reflection of this enormous dragon's scales and the light from the molten rock.

So, what's up? Why were you buried in there? she questioned, flitting around the flecks of lava that were thrown up by small explosions.

OOC: She is alittle chipper isn't she I was hoping you'd bring Phal in to, but your choice.

IC: Arkel looked at the little dragon flirting around, she was so small that he breathe and pull her into his nose. He thought what to say, when he had first appeared it was his dragon instinct that told him to say that, but that wasn't who he was. He spoke, I am DragonLord Arkel. I was trapped in there a few years ago, by another called Thead. He suddenly felt a sharp pain that the dwarf had thrown. Arkel dropped down to the ground; the man was smaller than the dragon had been. I'm sorry if I frightened you. What are you and that thing you are riding I have never seen such a thing before? For the first time Arkel took a good look around him everything had changed. He noticed a few other dragons with men and one with a woman on their backs. Why do you let the poeple ride on you, and why do you ride on the dragons. What happened to these hills, they are mountains now?

Kit nearly died when Arkel rose before him, but now he was amused by the extremely large dragon, he was acting childish with all these questions. He's been in there a long time.

Yes, much longer than Aeraldi or the others have been alive. I don't think he knows what a Rider, an Elf, a Dwarf, or really anything is. Shyara then glided down in front of the massive dragon. Hello Arkel, I am Shyara, and this is my Rider, Kit; we won't hurt you if you don't hurt us. And welcome to Alegaesia.

Ranog gave a grunt of satisfaction when he saw that the spear he had thrown hit the dragon, but was angry that it had done practically no damage watsoever. He answered the dragon, "I am Ranog the dwarven warrior. This felduonost, Urson is my friend. Why do you scatter the clans in such a way.

Voenth, Braith, Anthor, and Gornath all met in Farthen Dur and began to make their way to the city that it was reported the dragon came from. They came and ww Solaree, Ranog and Urson, Kit and Shyara there with the dragon. They noticed that the dragon was not harming them nor they the dragon. They kept up their guards and were ready for anything though.

OOC: Fanghur it is your turn.

Seren was running throught Farthen Dur looking for her mate Braith. She was still in her new wolf form so it was difficult to ran around since it was so new to her. Braith! Voenth! Were are you guys!? Seren called out with her mind. She eventually found them all together standing at the foot of the mountain looking at the gigantic dragon. Seren ran up to Braith and rubbed against her mate happy that she finialy found them. Braith who is this monster of a dragon and where did he come from? Seren asked looking up at her mate feeling rather small compared to him.

OOC: I probably will bring Phal in later, depending on where this goes.

IC: Hey man, not cool, Solarae said with a frown and promptly removed Ranog of his remaining large weapons. She flew back up to Arkel's face and landed on the tip of his nose.

Well, lemme start by saying you've been down there a lot longer than a few years, buddy. I'd say it's been at least several hundred thousand since you've seen the light of day, judging by your monstrous size. I s'pose you'll have a ton of questions for us, now that you're out. Well, let me start by saying those dragons are bonded to a hominid, called a rider. Long ago, the dragons and a hominid race called the elves were at war, and to make peace a few dragon eggs were provided for bonding with the elves, and later humans. Now some dragons live as a bonded partner with a human or elf. I myself am a wild dragon, and proud of it. Now, what are "Dragonlords?" she explained, and then asked a question of her own for the huge dragon.

OOC:Grrr, taking a dwarves weapons, not cool! He was gona stop....

IC:
"Hey!, you stupid fire lizard gimme my spear back!" said Ranog as the small orange dragon took it away, he rode after her, intent on getting his weapon back when the huge dragon transformed into a human. "What kind of witchcraft is this!"

"Show some manners Ranog, she was only stopping you from getting attacked by Arkel." said Anthor as he Gornath, Braith, and Voenth flew up to Solaree. He dismounted Gornath and walked over to formally greet Solaree and the supposed evil demi-god.

Gornath said, Good thing too, because he would easily overwhelm you judging by his size. Gornath nodded a greeting to his old friend Solaree and went to observe the "dragon lord"

Braith was dissapointed, he had been expecting somem huge battle, but all he saw was the suprisingly small orange dragoness that helped rescue him when he was naught but a hatchling and a small human. He went and greeted them sayinh, *sigh* Hello, I was told that there is suppost to be some huge battle, but I see that that is not to be. Hello Solaree, and Arkel, if I am corret why are you here?

Voenth got off of Braith's back and greeted the small dragoness and said, "So, I have heard alot about you why are you here Arkel?

Braith began to look around. He saw a wolf, that was very beautiful walking toward them. He was wary of the wolf for Voenth's sake, so he keep a very close eye on it.

"Thaed, Thaed never heard of him." Seren said as she started to climb up on to her mate-of-heart-and-soul Braith. This was one thing she liked about her human form. She now knew what it felt like for Voenth, or any other rider, to fly on a dragon. It was awesome.

Voenth, Braith, Anthor ,and Gornath awaited the departure of their group.

Ranog and Urson told the dwarves what had happend, and the dwarven armies turned to go home.

Should you wish to see the Islands, I can give you an awesome tour. I happen to have a home on Sharktooth. Said Gornath to the huge dragon.

"Yes, we do know alot about the Islands, but we also know much about Du Weldenvarden." Said Anthor as he and Gornath flew beside the huge red dragon.

"Whew, that took longer than I expected, if you are looking for a tour of the Beors then you'll find no better guide than me, but I won't be goind all over, I wil stay with my mountains." Said Ranog, panting.

"Hmm, well, I don't know much abotu the many forests and mountains od Alagesia, but I am a fair guide throught the Empire." Said Voenth.

OOC: Draco, I want to wrap this up and finish it, so... if you'd like to assist me, we can finish this up in probably a couple of days?

OOC: Sure thing. We could basically just summarize their trip around Alagaesia, and you could say Arkel's reaction and stuff. Would you like me to go first and start summarizing?

IC: Solarae flew along with everyone else as they made their way gradually north to Du Weldenvarden. Despite the fact that she loved deserts, she loved this forest just as much, which was rather strange in her opinion. Her two most favorite places were polar opposites. When they reached the forest, she happily joined in the narration of different areas they saw, and shared in the others' sadness that the great forest had become smaller since the rise of Galbatorix, for the elves' magic had withdrawn. The fiery dragoness watched Arkel often as they traveled, wondering how he would react to each new thing. Of course he had seen Du Weldenvarden before, but much had probably changed with the forest since then.
