Angela was a mystery character, guys. She is mentioned inn Eldest by an elf in Ellesmera. idk exactly when, but i remember the passage.

She was in Ellesmera CENTURYS before.

It couldnt be Angela, CP had already had all three books outlined before he even came out with the first book he even states that Angela was added along the way.

She may has been created as an amusing character at first, but this character has a potential to evolve into some important character - she's mysterious, smart, she has very unusual 'pet'. We know that she's been trained by a very wise man. She has access to Elesmera and she's more skilled with the blade than the dwarves.

Angela wont be the rider. I'm guessing we will learn a lot about her in the 4th book though. And as to those who think she is a werecat: It's possible but I doubt it because in Brisingr she refers to herself as a human.

Not to mention that werecats have distinguishing features eragon noticed right away that Solembum was a werecat when he first saw him. (when they were getting the records for the seithr oil)
