hey thanks im always excited to here about a great vampire book i mean they are my favorite kind of books i will def. keep these books in mind to read when im done with school (which is a couple of weeks i cant wait)

Those books are really good. They make vampires so much more realistic. The thirt and fourth ones are Choosen and Betrayed. I totally own them but have yet to read 'em.

I like books about vampires as well. I have read all ten books of The Vampire Chronicles, personally like the stories with Lestat telling them because I love how Anne Rice had his character. Also the way she writes in general is amazing, how she intertwines the vampires history with the history of the world is great.

I heard about the Twilight series right before the movie came out and actually found the book, as well as the second one 'New Moon', at the store. I didn't buy them, because I wanted to check them out from the library first, just to see if I liked them. Sadly, by the time I got there, the movie had hit, so all the copies were checked out and I am now on the waiting list.

While waiting though, I was able to start the Inheritance books, but also the Sookie Stackhouse series. For those that might not know, the TV show 'True Blood' is based on the series. The librarian told me the books were good and that I didn't need to start from the beginning, so she found me the sixth or seventh book and I gave them a try. I think I read four, maybe five chapters of the books before I stopped. It is really good, but there is so much information! I'm gonna wait until I can get the first book before I read anymore.

Is this book like all other vampire books? not meaning to offend anyone but all vampire books tend to have the same sort of plot and storyline.

none except twilight. It took me two months to start to read twilight because I don't like vampire books.But after I started I couldn't stop. The waiting list to get the 3rd and 4th books from the library was 120 and 95 people long. So I just went out and bought them.

i LURVE house of night!!! they are some of the best books iv ever read! iv not long finished hunted and just got my best friends hooked on them. i cant wait for tempted to come out at the end of the month.

i loved twilight and am very exited to go see new moon soon.

vampires are cool! i sometimes wish i was one. im writing a story on vampires at the moment.

no but i thinking about reading twilight cuz i read all of the eragon books that are out and all of the harry potter. and i have nothing else to read + i seen the movie it was ok i say to much love and more fighting but it was ok

I think you'll like twilight, It has some adventure and action, but its more romance and drama. It was good though. I liked part 3 of book 4 the best.

so far i know house of night is bringing out 12 possibly 15 books and i just cant wait for burned next month.....stevie rae is on the cover *WOOT*

Its really coming out next moth i really need to get it as soon as it comes out!! I loves these books!! These are my second favorite books besides twilight!! they are very good they kept me entertained, but they are a little more slow (action wise than twilight)

Yeah. Twlight and Breaking Dawn I think were the best of the books.

The sixth one is Tempted, but I'm not sure about the next one in the HoN series.

ever since Twilight came out, there's been a vampire hustle, like when harry potter came out, wizarding books and "spell books" were everywhere.

well, think about it. People don't really question animal deaths, except if they are an endangered species. But people freak out if humans get attacked and they'll investigate. it would draw less attention, though it is not as succulent as human blood, but they can live with it.

I would think that human blood would be better for vampires because they used to be human before, but animal blood would keep them undercover and undetectable by humans, especially if they hide the bodies. lol

It would be weird to see a vampire drinking another vampire's blood... if they have any... The book City of Bones said so. "to kill a vampire, you can bleed it..." and stuff like that...

Well, they don't have to be scary. They aren't real, so they can be whatever someone wants them to be.

well, it's all the author's interpretation. But I do have to agree. They are getting too soft. In the series House of Night, they drink human blood, but it's from the blood center, where people donate blood.

Well, I guess that conspiracy is important...

it kind of gets tiring when after one book comes out, a whole horde of the sam genre come out and now no one knows who or what started the whole vampire era thing.

There have been fans of vampire stuff forever only reason people think its new is because it’s new to them. Before twilight there was Buffy before that Anne rice's vampire chronicles and so on.
I suggest people read vampire academy it’s a great series.

actually humans in general are not aware of vampires. heath was an exception. Vampires ahve what they call consorts, which are human blood donators. only consorts know of the vampires, as well as privelaged humans who help the house of night with arrangements such as blood, clothes, transportation, staying arrangements.

in the book moroi are full blooded vampires, dhampirs are half breeds, and strigoi are pretty much vampire zombies. its russian based.if you know russian youll know the books better than anyone. i have read the entire series, and i am starving for more

hey for those who like vampire books should read the immortal seies and the fallen series, dnt know when paolini is gonna release the final fourth book, so we better use the the time satiating our reading hunger wid these vamp books, u can also check in wattpad site for ,more interesting fictional books,the house of series is also riveting.

actually its romanian and russian. they have terms from BOTH languages. its mostly russian except for the breed names

i assure you it is worth reading. it gets only better, and still complicated. let me tell you crap comes at you from left field as this series goes on. i cried a few times throughout the series. i promise you it womt let you down. i think if you like the house of night series youll like vampire academy

i actually find that slightly offensive. ive drank human blood and its so sweet. my fiancee used to drink pigs blood and human blood. it is not delusional it is something you ahve to have an acquired taste for. i find it insulting that you call us delusional. its not like we kill humans and drain them dry of their blood. we usually drink during sex for the added pleasure. dont you dare judge us for what we choose to do with our lives. we are not harming you of forcing you to let us feed from you are we? we only take willing victims, and take enough to satify our thirst. we are not the blood thirsty murderers you believe us to be. next time you want to learn about something you dont understand take the time to actually talk to someone about it instead of judging from rumors or facts you know nothing of

well why does that make them delusional? just because they believe something different? for all you know it makes you live longer, or healthier or something. i DO consider myself a vampire which is why i spoke as "we" instead of "they" whether you drink for pleasure or from necessity it is vampiric all the same.

its alright i was only slightly offended. there is alot you can research but until you befriend one of our kind you will never know the full truth. plus we are all different. some of us are normal and just have that one outstanding difference.

Some books on vampires make sense and are really good, but some books like the Twilight Saga isn't good and are very ridiculos sometimes.

i believe the twilight saga was very good, however some people missed the part in the last book where it was revealed that the wolves are shapshifters not werewolves at the end with the voltori

It kinda is a romance novel, with action adn adventure woven in, the kind of "all-teen" book.
