Hi everyone, I'm Rayla. I stumbled onto this place when trying to find an Eragon RPG, with no luck, though I do see you guys have one set up here, so I might be able to join in that one.

Anyways, I'm almost 21, just finished the book 'Eragon' yesterday, as well as started 'Eldest'. I became a fan after seeing the movie, though it took some time before I was able to get my hands on the book to read. Gotta admit, the movie was good, but the book was better.

I enjoy all sorts of things from writing to reading to swimming and of course, playing around on the computer. I'm a huge fan of Lord of the Rings, Supernatural, The Vampire Chronicles and there is more, but I won't bore you.

Anyways, if you are wondering something about me, feel free to ask. This place looks great and I can't wait to get in on the decisions.

Um, I don't know if Supernatural is on sci-fi, but it might be. I watch it on the CW. It's a great show, but you need to start from the beginning, else it can get a tad confusing as to what's all going on.

It would help immesely if you read all three books as most of the threads now refer to the third book being completed.

Aeraldi - Thank you for the welcome, as well as the invite to join the RPG section. Aeraldi the Bipolar Dragon? Now that sounds interesting! I haven't read all three books; I just started Eldest yesterday, but totally loving it. I also plan on buying Brisingr soon, though it will be a little while before I read that one completely.

what type of genre do you like to write? i love writing (especially fantasy and adventure)and i love reading too.
you like lord of the rings? i want to get into that by starting with they hobbit. have you read the silmarillion?(also , do you like the chronicles of narnia series?)

It's good to see that people are still enjoying the books and yes the book is much better then the movie. If you have any questions you can pm myself or any of the other team members who will try and find the appropriate answer to your question . If you prefer another method we have the help section were many answers have been answered and explained.

Australianrockstar - Thank you for the welcome and for what you said about my name. Rayla is a name I came up with on my own while working on a story idea I had. She was the main character of the story, but I haven't worked on it in a while. I decided, while trying to find an Eragon RPG, that I would use the name for my character and I always use the name of my character for any RPG board I sign on.
As for what genre I write, it all depends on my mood really. I'm still trying to get better at the fantasies, but stuff like Supernatural or general is what I usually stick too.
Yes, huge Lord of the Rings fan. Yeah, starting with the Hobbit is the best way. I own and have read the Silmarillion, a lot of history in that book. Funny you should mention Narnia, I just rented The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe from my Library. I intend to read it once I finish Eldest.
Yes, I'm a pretty big fantasy fan. I grew up on The Never Ending Story and Willow, when I got older I get into Star Wars and eventually LOTR.
I have never heard of Legend of the Seeker, at least I don't think.

Alex - Thank you for the welcome. Yes, I am enjoying the books hugely! Though sad about what's happened to far at the beginning of Eldest, but I have hope that it will turn out surprisingly. Thanks, I must say everyone is so nice here, already I feel right at home! Yes, I saw the competition going on, that is a great prize to win! I'd be lying if I said I wouldn't like to win it. ~ Chuckles ~

It's nice to find a place where everyone has different opinions, but can agree to disagree. I like placed like that and this is one of them. Also, again, great to find a place where people aren't trying to always talk down about the Inheritance Cycle or CP.

Wolverien - Thank you for the welcome. I am beginning to have a great time here! Don't worry, you'll probably get sick of me asking if something is within the rules. I've run my own boards, I know how it can be trying to keep everyone and everything in order. Thanks, I'll keep that in mind.

Avatar Aang - I'm trying to get into them, but I have to be careful. I don't want to spoil any surprises for myself in 'Eldest' by accidentally reading something before it happens. I've already reading a rumor by mistake (wrong click) and I wasn't happy about the rumor if it was true, but also cause I have to go back to 'Eragon' to find out something. That takes away from reading the other book! ~ Chuckles ~
