"Do you really you beet me even with there help. Listen up kill the traitor! I'll deal with the girl!" ordered Crimson.
"Yes master." replied the elves and humans.
"Frazer, show yourself to them." said Crimson.
Frazer flew behind Adurna. I am sorry for this. Frazer tried to say but the voices in his head prevented him for fully saying it.
"Crimson, when did you get here!" demanded Septarons.
"I followed where I heard you come from. Now brother, who are you more lowal to. Me or her." said Crimson.
"I, I am with Adurna I am sorry brother I know you protected me after mother and father... wait it was you who killed them wasn't it."
"Yes brother, now really did it take you that long to figure that out." said Crimson. "Now everyone listen up. Attack but try to capture them if possible. By the way I think you friends have fallen into my trap." Crimson ordered.

We need to go, Adurna is introuble. said Equinox. He started to fly when his leg was caught in something. He fell to the ground numb. A man ponted a bow at Equinox's neck. "Burst into glames!" shouted Galedrim in the ancient language.
"Ravinia, you, and Quasar go help Adurna. Eris, you and Throat Ripper stay with me and clear the area of enemies." said Galedrim.

Adurna's heart was almost ready to burst with magic. She knew it was time to fullfill her destiny. She called the ancients to her with her magic and explained what she was going to do, they agreed to help her and fused her magic with their own, merging with her. normally this would kill the person they inhabited, but Adurna was strong.
CRIMSON! she cried.NO MORE WILL YOU HURT MY FRIENDS AND THE INNOCENTS OF THIS WORLD! BEFORE YOU FOUGHT A MORTAL, BUT CAN YOU FIGHT THE ANCIENTS OF ALL THE SACRED BEINGS?Adurna was gone now, instead, a primal fury took over, and she rose into the air, no longer in control of herself. Through her, the ancients spoke a spell so powerfull the magic shot through every pore in her skin. The light was the soul of every thing that Crimson had killed during his time on the Earth. It enveloped him and he screamed in agony as it stripped him, layer by layer, until he was no more than a husk on the ground, writhing. the faded as quickly as it had come, and Adurna was collapsed on the ground. Septarons ran to her, but she had just enough energy left to shove him away.
"Finsih it." She gasped, and died.

OCC: She's not completely dead yet, her soul is still attatched toher body.

"Adurna!" Septarons shouted. He ran over to her body but felt claws sink into his back. He jumped away and stared at Frazer.
Burn traitor, burn to the ground. said Frazer the voices in his head urging him forward.
"Adurna, you won't die in vain." said Septarons. He looked up at Frazer. The dragons scales were now pure black. He looked up at him sadly. He knew Frazer could not act on his own.
Frazer dove at him and he tried to roll away but fell to the ground. The blood falling from his back. Kill, make the ground soffffffffft with blood. said the voices in Frazers head.
Quasar flew down from the sky and smashed into Frazer. Her eyes red with anger.
You again, join me Quasar.
Never. You and Crimso nwill pay for what you have done! she shouted.
You don't understand Quasar. It is I Sceptar. When you though Crimson killed me he used his magic to capture my soul. He said if I served him he would allow me to live. Quasar, I love you and you know that. Join me.
Quasar stared at Frazer. She found it hard to believe that the voices in Frazer's head was Sceptar.

Galedrim cursed, they were surronded, as mant as one hundred solders were around their camp.
"Surrender if you vallue your lives." said one the solders.

Septaron Adurna's voice echoed softly in his head. Septaron looked around wildly but Adurna was still on the ground where he had left her. But now a soft light fell around her. Her arm twitched! She was alive! I must finsih what i started, so i can go home.... She stood up, staggering, her sword barely held in her hand. She stumbled over to Crimson. He watched her through eyes streaming blood.
"Goodbye........Crimson" She gasped as she slid the blade into his heart. Falling over, they both died in silence. All at once, everyone seemed to come out of a trance. the men and elves stopped, and the copper dragon halted.

"I can't, there has to be another way without you dieing. I don't, I don't want you to die." replied Septarons.
Quasar dove at Frazer. He or at leasst the voices in his head we lying. She struck him in side but he bit her neck and slammed her to the ground. He then dove on her and suck his jaws into her neck.
"Adurna, I don't want you to die." he said. Still he knew that it would be better for the rest of the world. He went up to his brother and grabbed his sword.
"Good by Crimson." he said.
"I'm not going down without a fight." Crimson said weakly. He broke into his younger brothers mind. He had so much control over him it wasn't hard even in hie weakend state. When Septarons stabbed his brother he recoiled and peirced his brothers mind. Both elves fell to the ground.

Quasar tried to push Frazer off her. He bit into her stumac and she passed out. He picked her up in her claws. Galbatorix desired another dragon in his army.
Listen up everyone retreat! Pull back! shouted Frazer. All the solders retreated as Frazer went over and picked up Crimson. Not knowing if his master was dead of alive.

OCC: ignore my other post then.
Adurna looked up from where she had lain. "No," She gasped. "No." she said a second time. stronger. "No!" she said again, this time screaming it. " NOt my friends! NOT AGAIN! NOT EVER, EVER AGAIN!" She stood up, ignoring the weakness and pain. Leaned against the wall of her old house she looked up at the other dragons, carrying her friend away. She shot one final spell, aimed at Crimson. It hit, and it was just enough to kill him.

OOC: I didn't skip it, Frazer took Quasar but attacked Crimson. He attacked his mind and Septarons stabbed Crimson and he stabbed him. So techinally they both died.

Frazer turned back but continued he would take his revemge. No Frazer, don't I will take control of his body. said the voice in his head
Yes master. replied Frazer. Quasar still hung under him. She was now too weak to fight back.

Equinox and the others just arrived. They landed next to Adurna What happened! he demanded. He saw Eris go over to Septarons. He felt for a pulse and it was weak.
"He can still be saved. Brother can you heal him?" asked Eris.
"Know, its beyond my control now." replied Galedrim.
They both went over to Adurna to check if she was all right. They all knew something happened here.
"Wait. Where is Quasar?" asked Throat Ripper.

OOC: If you don't know who Frazer is he is my newest rp charry. He just got excepted a few days ago.

"Up." murmured Adurna, "dragon took her up." She collapsed again, legs buckling beneath her. "So, weak." She looked over at Septarons. her final act would be to heal him, she touched his hand. "Heal him." she whispered. As the last of her energy drained from her body, something began to happen. The same light that attacked Crimson formed around the two of them. Suddenyl, Adurna felt alive, reguvinated. She stood up, and so did Septarons. They looked at eachother and smiled.
"It seems the ancients have taken a likeing to us, Septarons." She said.

OCC: this is my last post for the night, i'll type a responce to you tomorrow if i can. See ya!

IC: Septarons nooded. He looked at eveyone else who was around them. "Thank you. And yes I do agree. To bad Frazer escaped with Crimson's body. I am not blaming you for anything because you did a great thing killing him. I think the voice in side Frazer's head will take over his body." he said.
Eris, Throat Ripper, Galedrim, and Equinox looked at eachother. They were all to chocked to speak. None of them even cared that Septarons was right there. They were just glad that he and Adurna were both alive. Equinox flew into the air.
"Where are you going." asked Galedrim.
After them. he replied.
"No, stay here, we will need all your help." Galedrim replied looking at the ground. They all had solem expersions on their faces.

Frazer flew as far as he could carrying both Quasar and Crimson's body. You did well Frazer. Crimson what a fool. Thinking he could live through that. Now Frazer leave the body here. I'll take it over. I want you to return to Galbatorix, No Crimson's old keep. Tell the elves and humans that you lead them Take your prize with you. If you meet up with Galbatorix then surrender her. said the voice in his head.
Yes master. replied Frazer. He dropped Crimson's body and picked up Quasar and flew off.

OOC: Oops I didn't notice the part when Crimson was stabbed sorry. Oh well pretty much the same thing would have happened any way.

OOC: ok, to get theings straight i am going to go over the story from the begining.
We meet Adurna and the others in the desert and she runs off to help her animal friends out of a trap, she uses magic to get them out, which leads Crimson and the others to her because Galbatorix wants her dead. Equinox and the rest arrive to distract Crimson, allowing ADurna to change and attack back. She casts a spell that kills Equinox for a short period of time that also kills Crimson. They all get away and escape to the varden. there they find out that Crimson has another dragon helping him and they rush off to go find him, but not before the ancients that gave ADurna and Ravinia power give the other's power as well. They also seperate Crimson from Equinox. LAter that day, Adurna and the other's settle down for the night and she goes off to hunt. SHe finds her old village and Septaron, Crimsons brother, is waiting for her there. They talk for a while but Crimson finds them. Adurna fights Crimson along with Septaron and Quasar, who fights frezure. Frezer over powers Quasar and carries her and Crimson off after Adurna casts a spell that nearly kills her and Crimson. THen casts a second one that actually kills Crimson. Meanwhile, Septarons got stabbed and ADurna sacrafices the rest of her strength to heal him. But the Ancients see her sacrafice and step in, healing them both. Now everyone is trying to figure out how to save Quasar.

IC: Adurna looked out into the night. She could feel the new strength burning inher veins.
"Flatten the town." She said int he ancient language, not even turning around. There was a rumble and all of a sudden her old home was seemingly crushed into junk. "I am tired of the past, now i am concerned only with the future." She turned to the galedrim. " Now is the time to use your tracking, Elf. Look to the sky and tell me what it is you see."

OOC: *Hint* there should be light involved....

Galedrim nodded. He used his magic. In his consoius First he saw a light it reviled to him the what he was looking for. He saw the dragon drop Crimson's body and fly off carrying Quasar. The dragon is talking to someone in its mind. He then angles off toward the capital. He sees a large fortress like area. That is where the dragon is going.
"They are headed to a fortress ares, possible to talk with Galbatorix or it could be Crimson's old strog hold I'm not sure." replied Galedrim. "Should we leave now or wait?"

OOC: I'm not sure what you mean by light so PM me if this isn't right.

OOC: it was supposed to be like a light trailo he can follow, but yours works too.
IC: Adurna looked aoround at her friends. " We need to split up. One or two of us needs to go back to the Varden and tell them what's going on while the rest go and save Quasar. I have a feeling i know what that dragon intends to use her for, and no female of any species deserves that. And if he cant do that he'll hane her over to Galbatorix. Who will go alert the varden?" SHe asked.

Eris and Galedrim looked at eachother. "I'll go alert the Varden. Galedrim will go help rescue her." replied Eris.
"That leaves one more person." replied Throat Ripper.
Galedrim looked at Adurna "Probably you or your sister should go with them."
"Know, we may need the most powerful with us. I'll go with Eris." said Galedrim.
"We have to do something fast. The chances are we will need the fastest to go alert them" said Eris.
"Well I do agree your brother should go. I think I will go to the Varden as well." replied Throat Ripper."
"All right. Is everyone ok with that?"

"Galedrim and throat ripper then, the rest of us will go on. Be carefull." she said to the both of them. Turning, she saw Ravinia holding onto Eris, and with a quick glance at Septarons, she moved to face the desert, stareing out at it intently. THen she made a long low whistling sound that seemed to go on for minuets.
A stallion came up on a hill.
" There you are Danall. I was wondering where you went to." The horse was blood red and obsidian, and it was massive. easily three feet taller than ADurna. It trotted down to her, nuzzling her cheek. She saw the others looking at him.
"Danall is a blood desert stallion, the toughest and quickest breed of horse the world has seen in years. I am his rider, i sent him off just before our paths crossed." She stroked his velvet muzzle before mounting him. "And what of you? are you all riding dragon back? Equinox xan probably take Ravinia and Eris, but what of you Septaron? Danall can carry two, or do you have another mode of transporation?"

"No, that will be ok. Crimson had a horse, but it is probably long gone by now so that would be fine." said Septaron.
The problem is we will probably leave you three behind when I fly into the air. said Equinox.
"It doesn't matter, you could just wait for us."
All right, this could take a few days though.
"We should get going. I hope that nothing bad happens to any of you." said Galedrim. He and Throat Ripper gathered their things and started to head back.

Adurna wished them luck and leaned forward to whisper in her horse's ear. The great beast lurched forward and began to run his heart out, he nearly kept pace with Equinox above them. " FAster Danall, faster!" Septaron had to hold on to ADurna's waist to keep from flying off.

OOC: do you have an AIM screen name?

IC: Equinox flew over the ground with the other two on his back. He just looked in front of him while making sure the ones below him were allright.

Galedrim and Throat Ripper made their way back to the Varden. Even with their speed it would still take them awhile to reach it.

"Hold on!" Adurna said, as dallan took a huge bouding leap over a waterhole that had over run their path. She glanced up at Equinox.
Are you doing allright? she asked him. Quasars abduction seemed to have greatly disturbed him, and she worried that he might try something foolish. She looked back out to the trail when he didnt reply, watching for the subtle signs of frazer's passing.

I'm allrihgt. I'm just worried about Quasar. She is strong I hope she can put up with it for awhile but, I am worried for her. Equinox replied trying not to show how sad he was.

Adurna looked back up at him. We'll get her back. I promise you Equinox.. For several hours there was silence, and when it started to get dark, ADurna signaled to Equinox to land.
"We'll make camp here for tonight." she dismounted and glanced again at Septaron. She felt torn between wanting to be alone with him and her duty of staying with the others, which meant keeping an eye on her sister.
"I'll go hunt for some rabbits for supper. We really ought to start hunting before we take off." She joked, grabbing her bow and arrows.

They wathced her go out and hunt. Equinox glared at Septaron. Even though he knew the dark elf ment them know harm he felt it really hard to trust someone who once worked for Crimson.
Septaron, why would you betray Crimson like that? asked Equinox demandingly.
"Like I told you when we first met I didn't agree with what he did. None of you have anything to fear. You can trust me." he replied.
"I trust him. If we couldn't why wouldn he not of cared that Crimson died?" said Eris.
Equinox grolwed agreeingly but not all convinced.

Ravinia stared at Septaron for a long time, finally she got up from her place by Eris and the fire to sit by him. She placed a slender hand on his brow, looking deep into his eyes. He had the feeling she was looking past him, and into his soul. This was something new, and shields around his mind coudnt keep it out.
"You have a good heart, Septaron. I am sorry it was tainted, how ever failntly, but Crimson. It will go away with time." Her gaze shifted slightly, and the searching feeling vanished from him. "Dont hurt Adurna, for your own sake." She got up and went back to Eris, putting her hand in his as she sat back down. With her other hand she drew water up from the ground for them to drink. She passed the water through the air fro Septaron to drink it up, but when he put his mouth near the water, she jerked her hand and it splashed his face.
"Sorry," She laughed," I can never resist doing that to people who just met me. Here, ill bring up some more water." she did, but this time put it into a cup for him to drink.
A few minuets later Adurna came back with two fat rabbits and the remains of a butcherd camel.
"Dinner." She said.

They all went around the fire to eat dinner. Equinox ate some of the camel he was given but didn't eat to much of it. e looked into the sky then said I think Frazer knows where we are. They day we arrived at the Varden he flew above us. said Equinox.
"That doesn't mean he knows where the Varden is though." replied Eris.
He tried to open his mind to find Quasar, but she was too far away. He then looked at Ravinia and held on to her hand.

OOC: we should clean up our spelling a bit. We're making alot of mistakes.
IC: "Even if he saw where we went in, he wont know where the Varden is. I forgot to mention to you that what we were at wasn't the actual Varden, but an outpst of it. We weren't even at Farthen Dur. It was pure chance that the leader was there when we arrived. The Varden are in Surdah and have been for some time." Adurna ripped some meat of her portion of one of the rabbits. "Needs salt." She said. Adurna looked over at Equinox.
"HEy, Equinox, if Crimson caused Frazer to go bad, why didnt he return to normal when i killed the Dark Elf?" She asked.

OOC: Have you ever read the book "The Prestige"?

OOC: Yeah your probably right.

IC: Equinox looked at Adurna he thought for a moment then said I'm not sure, mayb he desided to go fully bad or he was being controled by something Crimson set into his mind. Like another spirit. Do you know Septaron? suggested Equinox.
"Know, my brother didn't tell me much about that." he replied.
"He could not know he has free will." suggested Eris.
"I doubt it. I set wome of his puppets out of mind control and they knew right away they were free. Could some of his sole live in Frazer?

OOC: I've heard of it but I have never read it? Is it good?

ADurna looked up at the sky, thinking hard."It's more likely Crimson set something into frazer's sould, like a spirit, but it could also be that Crimson didnt know this spirit had a mind of its own. That would explain why frazer didnt snap out of it." She looked back at Equinox,"Does that sound likely?"
She leaned back to back with Septaron in the traditional warriors pose.

OCC: yeah, its pretty good. You have to be patient though, and read it when you arent likely to be distracted by other things. You could easily miss something. Part of it is like an autobiography, but then the rest of it turns into a story. Its kinda cool. i cant wait to watch the movie.

It could be. He did refer to the voice in his head as master so it is very likely. I doubt it is a shade because doesn't a shade take total control of the victim? asked Equinox. He blew more into the fire that was starting to weaken. He watched as the flames curled around the fire pit.
Have you or your sister been to a battle before. I know that you two have fought but what about a full battle? he asked.

OOC: Its sounds good. I'll have to read it sometime.

"I have." Adurna said,"But Ravinia has been at the Varden's outpost since we escaped Crimson." She placed her hand on Septaron's,"We only escaped because of Septarons influence, however minor, over Crimson. The battle was at one of the towns that had hired me among others for protection against a band of robbers."

"Yeah I guess I did sort of help not much though.. Have been in a few, all though they were all on Crimson's side which I regret. I remember when I first saw you Equinox. What were you planning on doing in that city any way." asked Septaron holding Adurna's hand.
I would rather not say. replied Equinox.
Eris shacked his head. He knew what he did there because he heard him telling Quasar.
"Just tell them. They won't think any worse of you." said Eris.
You weren't even supposed to here. All it does in embarrass my self even farther. If you all must know, the city that battle happened over was the one I was tortured at when I was a hatchling. I was about to destroy it when Crimson attacked. I wouldn't let the city fall to Crimson. Then others joined in the fight. Equinox replied.

Adurna stroked Kyragai's head, thinking. The snake lifted its sleek emerald head and flicked his toung out, touching her fingers. "If Frazer really is spirit possesed, i could talk to the spirit inside him. Me and Ravinia both have that ability but," she paused,"I would prefer it to be me." Kyragai moved off into the dunes around them to hunt for mice and ADurna watched him go. "Kitana, go with Kyragai, Shahin, you too." No one should be alone right now." her friends went off intot he night together. "Septaron, would you like to take a quick walk with me? I want to check on something." She got up, brushing sand off her. She saw Ravinia smirk at her but ignored. She really did have something she wanted to check but she also wanted to be alone with Septaron.

"All right." replied Septaron. He got up and left with her. they wallked off into the dunes.
"What do you have to check?" he asked.

Equinox laid down next to the fire. The flames reflected off his green scales. I wonder, do you think we will be able to break in. The guards will be mad that Crimson is dead and we will have to fight them. Not to mention most of Galby's army. said Equinox.
"I think that is what Galedrim and Throat Ripper are doing, getting the Varden ready. Also Maby Throat Ripper could get some urgal tribes on our side." replied Eris.
Perhaps.

Adurna walked out to a little patch of dirt that had been freshly dug. she cleared it all away and came up with a small box. " I took this from the ruins before i crushed the town. Remember?" He nodded. She opened it up and inside was an assortment of odd things. Most of them were sentimental. A black metal head band, two steele arm bands, a daggar, but there was something about the last. It was a necklace, and the pendant was a long, razor sharp tooth from what appeared to be a dragon. When she touched it it seemed to spark.
"This," she began, tying it around her neck, "Is a spirit connector. It was my fathers. It is supposed to allow a person to communicate with spirits of the realm beyond our own. It was never tested before until now. What i did, burying it like that, was ask the Earth spirits for a sign of its activity. The spark you saw? That was a spirit. It passed the test. This will allow me to converse with whatever is controlling Frazer, or with the frazer beneath the magic." She stood up after putting on the new arm bands and head band. She strapped the dagger to her thigh, brushing a thumb over her families symbol. It was a sun and a moon, both in diamond shaped boxes. The sun had thin rays, and the moon thick. In the top two corners were clouds, and in the bottom two were bright stars. Through the middle of the box was a line shaped like the sea. The divider between night and day.
When ADurna looked up there was longing in her eyes, masked beneath the warrior she had become.

OOC: Did you already connect with the spirit?

IC:"Yes I remember. I'm not sure if it will work very well though. The sprit inside of Frazer is... evil. It loves killing and murder. It was summoned by Crimson so the chances are it won't be able to be swayed easily. All though, I guess it is worth a shot." said Septaron.
He looked down at his own sword. It was much shorter than Crimson's.
A voice echoed through it, it was dark, even eviler than Crimson's.
Kill, murder, and destroy. You can't defeat me. I will crush your soulssssssssssssssss. Yes a line of dragons will come from her. All on my side. Beware though. The traitor will be first to die. said the voice.

OOC: This will probably be my last one for the day.

Adurna g;anced at the sword,"Judging fromt he look on your face, i'd say we both just heard the same thing. we need to go back.We cant wait f'till morning to get going again." Adurna drew her sword, she was all warrior now. Deadly and cold. She ran back to camp with Septaron behind her. Everyone was allready packed up. Ravinia came up to her.
"I heard it too, Adurna. We're ready to move out if you are." Adurna responded by vaulting into Danall saddle and backing him up for Septaron to mount. "Galedrim, lead the way on Equinox, dont worry about us, we'll keep up. Go as fast as you can!"

He got on Equinox and flew off. Equinox speed into the air with Galedrim giving the direction. Wgat do you see? asked Equinox.
We are going the right way. Angle slightly more to your left. I see some elves in humans. What ever is in Frazer's mind is still controling the elves. Who or what ever it is, is very powerful. The fortress area is large. Quasar is in a jail cell sort of thing right now. Frazer is on the floor above her right now. his eyes switched coloers and started glowing gold I see death in front of us. There may be a battle. Hopefully the Varden don't take too long to arrive. said GAledrim.

Ravinia glanced down below to her sister. She didnt want to admit that she was scared out of her mind, but she was. Adurna was half standing on Danall, her head beant low over the hors's neck to easy her wind resistance. She looked every inche the fierce warrior with Septaron riding behind her. Ravinia swallowed hard and tried not to looked so scared.
Down below ADurna could see where the elves and humans were being controled by frazer. She felt Quasars presence and the also the presence of whatever was controlling everyone.
Quasar! We're coming for you now, the Varden are on their way too! Hold on just a little longer! Adurna shielded her thoughts from everythign and everyone but Quasar, beaming them straight into the dragons mind.

Equinox landed next to the horse. Everyone on him dissmounted. He stared at the fortrees infront of them. How are we going to get though? Fight?" he asked.
If we need to. I would prefer not to, the problem is getting in by stealth with all of us would be to hard. Eris replied to the dragon's mind.
How wonder how faw away the Varden is?
I don't know, but lets hope they arrive soon.

Adurna took one look at the fortress and said "Diversion." They all looked at her and she sat down, motioning for them to do the same.
"WHat we need is someone to distract them until the Varden can get here. Meanwhile, while they are dealing with the first groupe, the second will get inside and find Quasar. If something is being done to her we try and spring her, if not, we wait for backup from the VArden. Equinox, you will be the distraction, there's nothing they want more than another dragon. You and Eris try fainting an attack, but dont make it obvious. Try to sneak in if you can, and when they catch you, go wild on them. Ravinia, you go with me, we will get inside and locate Quasar. Shahin, keep lookout, when you see the Varden, send us all a blast of magic to signify it. Kyragai, i want you to use your talents at shapeshifting your size and breed to kill off as many men as you come across. Kitana, you come with us as well. Does everyone agree?" she looked around expectantly.

Yes that sounds like a good plan. said Equinox. He flew off into the air. Eris and Galedrim agreed and they went off as well. Equinox shot lightning in the opposite direction. The guards immediately knew it was him in went that way. Eris jumped on him and Equinox flew on top of the gate and they started to pull it up.
"We're under..." started a man but Equinox killed him.
They killed two guards and Eris took one of the guard’s uniforms.
"I'll distract the guards, Equinox go cause some trouble once Galedrim makes it through I'll go."
"Another dragon! Catch it!" shouted a solder.
Equinox fired lightning at people. He dodged a volly of arrows and blasted back fire.
Eris and Galedrim walked toawrd the castle. The were close to it when they were attacked. Galedrim struck a man in the head and Eris fought another man. Galedrim shot out random magic to hit solders.

"Lord Frazer, we are under attack. We think it is the people who killed Lord Crimson." said a solder.
release hell upon them. Kill them all. Pour out their blood. Eat their souls. Conssssssssume the flesh. said the voice in Frazer's head.
"Yes sir." the man replied and left.
Frazer went down to room Quasar was in. He was chained to the ground, many injuries were on her but she showed no signs of weakness.
Give me your worst. she muttered.
Frazer stared at her. He walked up to her I'm sorry. he managed to say before the voice took total control of him again.

OOC: i need the layout for the fortres they are in. give me a rough mental picture with i min of typos please, otherwise i cant make my next story post. what does the land around the "castle" look like? how is it guarded, what does the castle itself look like. how many floors are there, that sort of thing. Thanks.

OOC: It may not be too good, but I'll try. I'm not too good with setting.

The city is surrounded by stone walls. At each wall there are two gatehouses. With each gate house there are two guards with swords and four to ten archers. The castle is large. It has five upper floors and three lower floors. There are large towers on the castle seven in total. It’s like a medieval castle. Around it is flat with a few hills. There are ten guards around the entrance. Archers are on top of it. There are a few buildings close to it.

Is that good.

OOC: thats pretty good. but there are a few things. what are the buildings used for and at where we are in the layout, can Adurna and Ravinia get to them unnoticed? also, where ARE we in the set up? in front of the castle? behind it? whats nearby our position?

OOC: We are to the right side of it. The buildings are used for weapon making, weapon and armor storage, a few food areas, and some people live in and that is about it. They could get in unoticed, it would be difficult but they could. Near are posistion is a hill and a few trees.

ADurna pulled Ravinia and Kitana to the small hill beside them,"Duck down and dont move, or your armor will flash in the sun." We should have waited until night.She thought to herself.Adurna poked her head slowly abov the hill. What she saw left her dismayed. There was nothing but open ground and scrub. The castle was well protected and guards were everywhere. "Ravinia," She said duckiong back down, "Do you see that little hut about ten meters Down and to the left?" She asked, her back up against the warm sand of the dune. Ravinia nodded, tight lipped with fear. "I think that's an armory. What im thinking is this: We sneak over and take some of the armor there. I shield us with magic just long enough to get within one bowshot of the guards on the tower closest to us and kill them. We get up the tower by climbing. It's a design flaw i noticed, the bricks are uneven and stick out. We impersonate two of the guards and make our way into the building. That way we can find Quasar with limmited obstacles." Ravinia nodded, and Adurna looked back over the hill, choosing her moment to move.
"Ready......NOW!" She cast her spell, and they ran pell mell down the plane to the little building.

Equinox flew around dodging arrows as archers shot at him. He knew they only wanted him injured. The problem was with Crimson dead they wouldn't care if they injured him too much. He flew down and grabbed an archer. He flew up into the air and dropped the man to the ground. He dove into the rank of some archers and tore some to shreds. He sinced as a sword grazzed his side. He flamed the man in the face then went back into the air.

Eris and Galedrim stood back to back fightning fifteen solders. "Brisingir." said GAledrim and a solder went up into flames. Eris blocked a sword blow and struck the man in the chest. He glanced around he knew enemy troops were somewhere and hopped their plan would work before they were too outnumbered.

Frazer stared at Quasar. She had collapsed to the floor. He went back to the upstairs and ordered guards to stand at the dooor. He went to another cell. A man stood in it. The man was not accually human, well he was but he could turn into a dragon. Sort of like Frazer who can turn into a human.
Be lucky. Your execution has been moved up a day. said the voice in Frazer's head.
"I will... not... die." said the man.

OOC: i thought Galedrim was with throat ripper going to the varden.
IC:Adurna pulled Ravinia into the building. Her guess was right, this was an armory sotrage area. She put it on over what armor she had on from her father and found Ravinia a complete outfit.
"RIght, now this is the tricky part. Ravina i need you to do what i say and when i say it. No back talk. When i say run, run, dont look back, dont slow down. I'll cover us with magic until we are close enough to be ignored." SHe nodded and ADurna opened the door. Sounds of battle were imminent.
"Ready?" She asked Ravinia, Ravinia only stared ahead." Just breath deep Little Serpent, getting inside is easy, its getting out we need to worry about." She waited a few seconds, assesing the energy needed for the spell. "NOW!" she cried. Instantly Adurna and Ravinia vanished, with only the footprints marking their progress. In seconds they were at the castle wall, and ADurna released the flow of magic. "Stop their hearts." She said in the ancient language. The guards above collapsed with muffled gasps.
"Climb Ravinia!" ADurna said harshly. She shoved her sister up and they began to climb. After an exhausting climb they reached the top, ravinia tried not to look at the dead bodies.

OOC: Oops I'll just take him off for this one then.

IC:Equinox stared down at the solders below him. More were comining and he wondered if GAlbatorix knew of the attack. Equinox flew down and smashed a solder with his tail. He reared up and clawed one man almost in half while the second man jumped out of the way.

Eris Blocked a sword blow to his head. They were outnumbered badly and he wondered when the Varden would arrive. He could ude magic, but not as good as Galedrim. He struck a man in ths side and his sword left a large third degree burn on the man. Eris gleamed with ddelight. His sword was still infused with fire.

Frazer glared at the man. He was sad the execution was delayed. He wanted the man dead now. Although was it him or the voice in his head that wanted it?
"Sir, we're under attack!" said an elf.
Call out some more troops. If the Varden come get them all and tell King Galbatorix. replied Frazer.

Up above, ADurna and Ravinia were inside the castle now. "THis way." Adurna said, peering around a corner to see if anyone was coming. They darted like shadows through the corridors, pausing at every turn. Soon they came to a stairway. Knowing that Quasar was down below, but not wanting to get trapped in such an enclosed space, Adurna cast another spell of invisibility, this time she infused it with some of her gifted magic from the ancients. Now no living thing could feel their presence. Adurna grabbed Ravinia's hand and pulled her along behind her. She started counting steps, losing count at a thousand and five. They had gone down at least ten flights of stairs and were below ground at this point. Then she heard something. Veering to the left where the sound was, she discovered a door. It was cleverly hidden, and she wouldnt have found it without her keen hearing.
"Kitana," She whispered,"Can you hear what they are saying? It's all muffled noise through that door for me." Kitana pricked up her ears.
"Someone is in there, wait, make that two, i think it's Quasar...Hold on, now i hear a human, and another one. There must be at least four in there. Two dragons, and two humans. Both humans are male." She listened intently for another moment. "Yes, now im sure, Its Quasar and Frazer, but i dont know who the humans are." Her eyes widend,"Back! Get back!" They all flattened themselves against the wall, and not a moment too soon, a human dressed in armor threw the door open and ran down the hall, yelling for other soldiers. They all slipped inside, still invisible, as the door swung closed.
OOC: Who is the man?

OOC: One was just a solder the other is a prisoner who can turn into a dragon. I'm still trying to think of his name lol. So if you come up with the name you can give him it if I haven't already.

Eris looked around. There were way too many. He called Equinox in his mind. He jumped on the gree dragon and they rose into the air. Tell Adurna, Kitana, and Ravinia we have to retreat, there are too many solders. said Eris to Equinox.
Wait, I hear something. In the distance came the sound of war drums. From one side came solders of the empire from the other many of the Varden.
Great, it looks like this could turn into a battle. said Equinox.

Frazer went up to the man. He glared at him Tell me, did you call reinforcments through your mind. demanded Frazer.
"What are you talking about? I am a human not a dragon. I couldn't call me allies." replied the man.
Then tell me, when did the Varden arrive.
"What?!"
Frazer roared and dove at the man. His claws were about to peirce his chest. Quasar glared at the two. She fought hard to excape the chains but she was too weak.

Suddenly a surge of energy infused the elf and dragon, wiping away every ounce of exhaustion they were feeling. We are not done yet, Elf. Get moving! It was Shahin and Kyragai, talking in unison.

Frazzer dived at the man, but right then a bolt of crackling silver-red magic lashed out of thin air, striking the dragon on the side of his head. Adurna was visible, her arm was out stretched and her fingers were smoking, she raised them to her lips and blew on them, comically. "And to think, that wasnt even me getting warmed up yet." she smiled. Your still invisible Ravinia, go help Quasar, Kitana, go with her.
OOC: how about Kane?

OOC: Thats good.

Frazer flew into the air. His eyes glowed red as energy beams flew out of them. They struck Adurna and blasted her to the ground. Frazer gleamed in delight at it all. He flew at her I will kill you. Death to all who oppose me. I wish to taste your heart. said Frazer along with the voice in his head. It finally happened. Frazer lost every bit of him to the voice. His scales turned pitch black.
Kane got up. He looked as Frazer was fighting a women who came in. I twas now time to make his escape. Then again. These people helped me so I should help them. he thought. He then transformed into a dragon and dove at Frazer.
Frazer was thrown to the ground but pushed Kane off him. Kane blasted fire at him but Frazer rolled out of the way.

The two armies rushed toward the city. Equinox flew toward the Varden and he and Eris landed next to Galedrim and Throat Ripper.
"Glad you see you got here so fast. We will need all the help we can get." said Eris. The army charged the castle while lightning with the empire.

Adurna got up off the ground, brushing the dirt from her clothes. "You shouldnt have done that." She said quietly. "Now im angry..." Frazzer and KAne heard her, and something in her voice made Frazzer pause. Adurna moved out into the open, and in that instant, her appearance changed. She was back in the form the ancients had given her, but her eyes remained fixed in the silver-red color, glowing like lava beneath a layer of ash. Wings stretched out, both tipped with a Silver claw made for slashing in close quarters. She glared at him. "Frazer, have you ever fought with a monster of the Ancients?" Venom dripped from her teeth, now pointed and razor sharp. Raising her hand, she drew the magic out through it and launched it at him. Where are you Frazer? The REAL you? she wasnt hurting him, but rooting through him, looking for the creature beneath it all. She might not be able to kill the creature and save Frazer, but she could pull it out of him if she found its source. Something snagged her mind, Ah, there you are. That was when she began to tug. Ravinia had freed Quasar, and both lent Adurna their strength, along with Kitana. Sweat began to pour down her face as the sounds of battle came from above.

The voice inside Frazer's mind laughed. You foolish ignorant girl. I am about as old as they are. When Crimson released me from my prison and put me inside this dragon I took some of his soul as well. Now soon I will have a new body and Crimson will come back.
The voice stabbed at all four of their minds. Even though it has to use less of its strength it still put up a good fight. He forced back a barrier and used Frazers own weakend mind for its benifit. As it was doing so it was chanting something in the ancient language. The room was growing warmer as every atom in their bodies heated up. It would take awhile but eventually they would start to burn from the inside out. Only Frazer would live, free for the voice to control.

Equinox dove into the air and shot lightning at the enemies below. Galedrim and Eris fought back to back while Throat Ripper cleaved enemies into bits. Even with the arrival of some of the Varden's troops the empires fprces still outnumbered them.

ADurna grimaced at the jab, stumbling back a pace. But the wards set up around her mind protected her for the most part. She retaliated, sending one of her own. She was rewarded when Frazer winced. She dug in during his distraction, burrowing into the subconscious. Finally, she found it, a glimmer of good beneath a massive tangle of black. This time, rather than trying to pull out the evil, she added her own good to it. The magic in her latched onto the sould of Frazer. She concentrated on making it grow. soon the little glimmer of good was a sparkle, and then the sparkle became a flash, and then the flash grew to a stream of light that filled the sould with gentle white light.
OOC: Every once in a while i carve a pumpkin with a kinfe made of lollipop sticks. Lollipops.....what we call cavities on a stick....

IC:ADurna brought in ravinia and Kitana, adding their light to Frazer. Soon the light filled all of Frazers skull. It burned him, he couldnt stand it, screaming, he fled Frazers mind, seeking a new host. Frazer collapsed on the ground. ADurna ran forward, not knowing if he was alive or dead. the silver-red light was fading rapidly from her eyes, and she was drained from her exertions and her battle wills with Frazer. Up above there was a massive crash and dust fell from the cealing.

OOC: That was random. Is it for Halloween? And how can a lolipo stick cut a pumpkin.

Frazer fell to the ground. His head burned and he felt as if he could barily move. He felt though like his mind was free. He could now think without the voice in his head harming him or making do something else. He looked up at who else was there. He reconized none of them. He could barily remember anything from the past century. Then he saw a copper dragon glare at him and attack.
He jumped away "What are you doing?! Who are you? And why are you attacking me?" he said. Because he can turn into a human he can talk through his mind and with his mouth.
What do you think. Do you not remember what you did to me! I'll tear you into peices! roared the copper dragon.

Equinox saw a dark shape flee from the castle but he paid no mind. He went back to work fightning. He dove at a solder and tore him apart. The other fought with him as well.

Adurna threw up her hand,"Prevent him from moving" She said calmly. kane stopped, fighting the magic. "Unless you wish to humiliate yourself, i wouldnt attack him." she walked over to Frazer, placing a hand on his snout. "Little Serpent, come here." Ravinia walked over slowly, scared of the beast that had nearly killed her friends. "It's alright, Ravinia, he wont hurt you. I need you to heal him. I am too weak and besides, the Water spirits are specialists in healing." She pulled Ravinia the last few feet, placed her hand on the dragons snout, and stepped back. Ravinia's hand glowed pale blue, the color of moonlight. Frazer's body relaxed a little.

Frazer felt much better. He stared at them Thank you. he said. Do you know why I'm here? I don't remember anything. he said.

Kane turned back into a human and he and Quasar both glared at Frazer "What do you mean you don't remember. Do you even know what you did to us!" demanded Kane.
No, its all fuzzy. I just remember Crimson placing a spell on me and then... its hard to remember. replied Frazer.

All the while ADurna had been watching kane, she walked over to him, stareing at him intently,"I know you...im not sure how, but i do..." She angled her head, thinking. His eyes were familiar, and so was his facial structure. In fact, Kane's face in general seemed to jogg her memory. And then it clicked. Painfull memories came flooding back. "Kane?" She said, using his name for the first time.

OOC: is it cool with you if Kane ends up being Adurnas long lost brothe? or do you have some purpose in mind for him? if you do, then i'll just turn it into him being a friend from ADurnas village.

OOC: Sure I don't mind.

IC: "Adurna," said Kane "Is it really you. I thouht, I thought you and Ravinia were both killed when our village was attacked by Crimson." said KAne. He was happier then he had ever been in a long time. He had never even thought that any of his family had lived.

ADurna folded her wings into her back, gradually returning to normal. Ravinia ran forward and hugged Kane as if her life depended on it. Adurna was more reserved, smiling a little at her sister and brother, a tear in her eye.
"Eris, Equinox, Quasar, this is my brother, Kane. He was taken from our village before our family was killed, and after that i dont know what happened to him." Adurna called to Kitana, and the lynx prowled forward.
"Yes ADurna?" Kane blinked in suprise.
"Kitana, what is going on up above? we need to get out of here." Kitana pricked up her ears again, listening. "I hear a battle in the eastern end of the fortress, as many as two hundred on both sides. But the rest is silent as a grave. What are your thoughts?" Adurna paced, forgetting her brother for the moment, concentrating on getting everyone out alive.
"The east end has our exit, and i dont know the west side. Our armor, Ravinia's and mine, will protect our identity, but you others dont have that advantage. Hmmm..." She thought for a moment. "We could fight our way out, but thats impractical with two hurt dragons." She stopped pacing, an idea forming in her head. "What if, what if Frazer pretends he is still under control, and leads Quasar out, then Ravina and i lead you, Eris, and you, Kane, out behind him. Pretend we are moving the prisoners away so the Varden cant get them. We wait until we are out of sight, then double back to the Varden."

Thats sounds like a good idea. said Frazer. He was slightly hesitent to go near Quasar because she was glaring at him and had a murderous look on her face. Quasar I'm sorry for what happened. But you will have to act like a prisoner while we escape.
Fine. she said rudly.
He walked up to Quasar. They all started walking out of the castle. Outside the battle still raged on.

Quasar knocked into Frazer 'accidentally', in his weakened state, she nearly overturned him. Quasar! Now is not the time for petty revenge.Adurna said harshly with a mental jab, a fierce frown upon her face. Quasar muttered to herself. A soldier came up to them,"My Lord Frazer, where are you taking these prisoners?" Adurna spoke up then, from behind her helm's vizor. "My Lord has decided to move the prisoners beyond the reach of the Varden, and has requested we two to come and help guard them. Go about your business unless you seek a challenge." They continued past the confused looking soldier.

Frazer led the way out of the castle past the guards. A few of them asked what he was doing, but most just fought the Varden. When they reached the exit of the castle they walked out. They had to be carful so the Varden didn't accidently attack them.

They got themselves away from the battle quickly, not wishing to chance their luck. Adurna set out a mental call to everyone of their groupe, and soon Gaeldrim, Equinox,Eris, Septaron, Quasar, Kitana, Kyragai, Shahin, Ravinia, Throat Ripper, Kane and Frazer were all eyeing each other in one large circle. Adurna went over to Septaron immidiately, putting an arm around his waist, Ravinia doing the same with Eris. Kane gave the two men a brothers once over. He reserved judgment on the two.
"Are we all here?" Adurna asked, swift glances around followed by nods were all she needed. "Good. Now i can contact the Varden from here but I'd rather not. It's too risky with all these magic users about. So i will have to go first as a show of good faith. Frazer, I'm sorry, but you will have to be a prisoner for a while if you want to live." Septaron was looking ovber at Kane, and Kane was looking right back. They seemed to be sizing each other up.

"What do you want! Why aren't you with your devil of a brother!" demanded KAne, he wasn't just yelling to yell, he didn't trust Septaron.
"as far as we know he is dead. I did not agree with what he did even though I do unfortuitly have to say I did go along with it." replied Septaron.
"If that is true why didn't you release my sisters when you first met them. I can understand Frazer, he had know say in what he did."
"Are you really that ignorint? I couldn't have unless I wanted all three of us killed. Besides Kane if you don't remember Crimson didn't trust me as much as everyone thought." replied Septaron.
"Really, if that was true then why were you always a general under him. Also you were there when my village was destroyed." said Kane.
Septaron grabbed his sword "Are you accusing me of still being loyal to the enemy!" he demanded.
Both of you quit arguing. Septaron put down your sword. The last thing we want is a fight between our selves. ordered Equinox.
He put his sword away. Both him and Kane still glaring at eachother.
"Should part of us go ahead and take Frazer to the Varden jail right now?" asked Throat Ripper.

Adurna glared at the two of them, she hated having her love and her brother on opposite sides. Time for a little something her mother taught her.
"Kane, Septaron, come here for a moment." She moved to the middle of the circle. They both warily came toward her. When they were three feet apart, her hands darted out grabbing both of their ears, sharp fingernails turning to claws and diggin in as she twisted. "Now that's enough out of both of you. You are on the same side and WILL act like it. Apologise and shake hands like men, or so help me God i will tie you two together and FORCE you to work together. Am i understood?" She gave and extra hard twist, drawing blood.

Both Eris and Equinox tried hard not to laugh. Eris passed it off as just aloud cough and Equinox just held it in.
"Yes, we understand Adurna." said Kane hopind his sister would release him. He and Septaron both glared at eachother.
"Adurna is right. We can't fight eachother. I'm sorry. Trust me if I could have let them go without any of us getting killed I would have." replied Septaron. They both shook hands even though they still showd some dislike.

ADurna released them with a shot of magic to heal the wounds she made. "Better, much better." She turned away, motioning for Kyaragai to come to her. "Report?" She asked him.
the oppossssing forcccccesssssssss are sssssstrong, but we have the varden now, ssssssso we have hope. i killed quite a few with my bitessssss but not enough to dent their numbersssss sssssssignificantly. The otherssss helped asssss well. All Kane saw was a giant green snake flicking its toung at ADurna, he had to resist the urge to crush it mostly because of the way she was looking at it. What had happened to the sister's he had left?
"Kyragai says you all managed to dent the numbers a bit, but not enough. Will the Varden be able to handle it without me? My skills are needed eslewhere."

"We could be, but more enemy reinforcments arrived during the time we were fightning. We could always pull back. We achiced what we were going for." replied Eris.
No, there are too many. Then again I guess we could stay. We have managed to do many things that seemed to be against us. replied Equinox.
"It depends is the entire Varden here. If they are then stay, If they aren't retreat. There or more solders in the castle and Galbatorix will proabaly send more." replied Frazer. He then turned into his human form.
"You can do that to." said Kane.
"Yes, but the difference is you are a human I am a dragon." replied Kane.
He then looked at his sisters "What happened to you two when I was gone?"
Frazer looked at Kane, "I have an idea, because I am a captive turn into a dragon. If your scales are similar to mine you should be able to pose as me. Tell them to retreat." said Frazer.
"I'll try. I must warn you though. I'm not good at flying. Humans weren't meant to be able to fly." replied Kane. He then transformed into a dragon.

ADurna glanced around at them all,"I need to go and track down the spirit that was inside Frazer, who will go with me?" She asked, systematically taking off the coined armor. She rotated her shoulders and neck, not used to the restriction of the metal plates. "How can you function in that stuff?" She asked.

"You get used to it after awhile. I think we should all come. I really want revenge also. We can leave the Varden to choose what they wish to do." said Kane.
"Who doesn't?" said Frazer going back to his dragon form.
"I'm coming. You had your revenge against Crimson and I still need mine." said Galedrim.
Don't we all Galedrim. I'm coming to all aid you. replied Equinox.
"I'll go." said Eris.
"Same." replied Throat Ripper.
"Anything to make sure all memory of my brother is erased." replied Septaron
Quasar glared at Frazer Yes, you wouldn't want revenge. Her menissing voice made him step back alittle.

Adurna bounded forward and hit Quasar between the eyes, "That is enough, Quasar. Any more from you and i will lose my temper. frazer had no more control over his actions and, less perhaps, than even Equinox had while under Crimson. It was not he who tormented you now end this behavior!" She glared at Quasar, dareing her to disagree or rebel.

Quasar growled Sorry she said. She knew that Adurna was right but it would be hard for her to except it. Frazer looked at Quasar,
"I don't know how much this will mean, but I'm sorry. It wasn't my actions but still I'm sorry."
Quasar just growld but she accepted his apoligy even though he didn't really need to apololigize.

Adurna looked at them both before nodding in approval. She strode away from them and glanced once over her shoulder as her wings emerged from her back. "EQuinox and Quasar, i need you two to come with me and see the Vardens leader for a moment. We need to tell him what our plans are so we dont appear to be deserters."

Equinox and Quasar followed her. The others stayed and made sure none of the enemies came their way. Are you alright? asked Equinox.
I'm fine... When the spirit fleed I wonder where it went. The only other person who would had made a good holst would have been Crimson, but he is dead. replied Quasar,
I don't know. Maby it will just corrupt an animal.

"He wont go after an animal," Adurna said. She traced her scar again. Normally the thin slash made her look vulnerable and weak, but now, however, it made her look war-like and fierce. "He wont go after and animal, he will want a strong vessil to take over. Most likely another Elf. He has hundereds to choose from." she stated darkly.

"Its probably my brother it will go after. Even if he is dead it will still take over his body. After all it was Crimson who called it into Frazer." said Septaron.
"The problem is he is dead and as far as I know it is impossible to ressurectc the dead even if it is just to take control of their body." replied Kane.
They all looked at eachother and though where the spirit would go. Equinox looked at the ground then said I think it will go into one of the mind controled elves or humans. Their minds are already under control so it wouldn't be to hard. he said.

Adurna paused, the Varden's encampment only a mile away. "Go back to what you said about Crimson for a moment." She turned around,"I think that is what he will do. He wont be resurecting him, just using the body. This thing is already a spirit, all it needs is a container. Frazer just happened to be alive when the thing came along. Where was Crimson's body last seen?" she asked them all.

The sprit made me drop it off after he was killed. i flew for about a mile then dropped his body. replied Frazer.
Do you think it would have reached it by now? asked Equinox.
Probably. It is faster then a dragon because it has no boddy and it know esactly where it is.
"Which means that Crimson will be even more powerful then he once was. The spirit will have all of Crimson's powers and its own." replied Galedrim.

"no, im not so sure." Adurna said to them. "If Crimson is dead, so are his powers. I think it will only be the spirits powers we are fighting. Again i say, the spirit only had Frazers powers because he was alive when the spirit took over." She started walking again.

The others followed her. Even if it didn't have Crimson's powers it would still be a powerful foe. Frazer looked at the other two dragons. They seemed different then hilself. He paid know mind, it probably only because he had a sprit in his mind for more than half his life.
Equinox looked at the sky. Couldn't the sprit still use his magic. If it was Crimson who summoned him, then he could have broke into his mind and learned how to use his powers. said Equinox.
"I doubt it. Even if it could it is still more powerful then Crimson withour his powers." replied Kane.

Adurna nodded, she was thinking fast. If Crimson came back, that could complicate things greatly. She had trouble enough defeating him when it was just him. Now there might be a SPIRIT using that devil. Suddenly, a roar came from her left, Adurna wheeled to face the human that was running at her, her blade ready to flash. Then Kane was ther, he stood in front of her. She blinked in suprise and looked at him, then at the human, realising a second later that it WASNT a normal human, but one of the spirit possesed. She shoved him aside with all her strength and ran out to meet the man. It was a fierce battle, and she came away with a bleeing arm. She let Kitana lick it clean and glared at Kane "Fool!" She cried."Dont EVER do that to me again! I am not your weakling sister anymore and i do not requior protecting. By trying to protect, you almost were killed! The ability to transform into a dragon does not MAKE you a dragon. He would have torn you apart." She brushed Kitana aside and ran the last few yards to the Varden's camp, searching for her leader's tent.

Kane starred at the the dead body and them looked at his sister. He ckiked the body of the human. "I guess your right. I'm just used to having always to defend you." replied Kane somewhat rudely ,but not too much.
"We weill have to be a guard. There could be hundreds or thousands of possesed elves and humans running around." said Throat Ripper trying to prevent an argument.

Adurna glanced at Throat Ripper, "Very well. Now hurry, we are almost to the camp." She took off at a light run, so the others could keep up. In no time they were moving among the tents and gasps of suprise and fear followed them all the way. Adurna searched quickly, wanting to get them to their destination before something bad happened. The commanders tent was always marked with a sword and shield, and when she saw it she made a beeline for it.
"Commander, i need to speak with you!" she called, throwing back the tent flaps. He looked up at her in suprise, then shock as he saw all the dragons and Elves.
"MY God, ADurna, what is all this?" He put down the map he had been holding.
"This is Equinox, a free dragon, Quasar and her riders Galedrim and Eris, Throat Ripper, Frazer, Septaron, Kane, my brother, and the rest you have already met, my Lord." She stared at him for a moment. "We have a lot to tell you."
OOC: Can you be the Varden commander for this part? Also, sorry it took me so long to post my reply. Ive been focusing on my own story for the past few days.

OOC: All right, I don't mind.

IC: He looked at them "What do you have to tell me?" he then looked at Septaron "Wait, weren't you Crimson's brother?"
"Yes, but I was against him from the start. Like Adurna we have much to tell you. First Crimson is dead... for now anyway. Frazer was once controlled by an evil spirit set in place by Crimson. We managed to get it out of him, but it fled and we think that it went to go into Crimson's body. Also to make things worse the possessed elves and humans are now under the control of the spirit."
"So, your saying that a Shade is out now."
"We're not sure if its is a Shade or not. Crimson is already dead so it will only use his body."
The commander looked at him as if trying to read his mind "Do any of you have an idea of where the spirit plans to take him."
No, but probably Galbatorix's castle. replied Equinox.

ADurna walked forward, away from the tent flap. "My Lord," She began, "I suggest we pull back now. The spirit has fled and there is no more reason to fight these Elves and Humans. Let us retreat into the desert. Those who are possesed wont follow us out into the heart of the Hadarac. I know the land there, we can survive. All of us." Ravinia left Eris and came forward then.
"My Lord, listen to her. We have much to tell you, and this is not the place for it. We have more peopl to fight with than they do. They know it would be foolish and suicidal to pursure us."

"All right, I will order a retreat. We will have to bring as much stuff as we can." he then turned to one of his guards "I want you to tell the rest of our troops to retreat. Have them and the people take as much stuff with them."
"Yes my lord." he replied than communicated with the solders through his mind.
"Adurna, Ravinia I want you two to lead the way."

"Yes my Lord." They echoed. Motioning for the other's to follow, they exited the tent. "Equinox, Ravinia and i will need to ride you, if only for a short while. I dont think it a good idea to flaunt or magical abilities just now." She watched as the men came flooding out of the castle. Equinox agreed and the two women climbed up him.
"PEople of the varden, follow us!" She called mentally and physicly. Equinox soared into the air, and Aduna projected into his mind the route to, and the image of, the place they were going to.

Equinox flew into the air and headed toward the Haradac Dessert. Behind him Quasar flew with Throat Ripper, Eris, and Glaedrim. Frazer flew next to her with know rider. Everyone else walked below the three dragons. They followed them and Equinox led guided by Adurna. He looked behind him and was relived to see that the enemy was not following them.
I wonder why Galby didn't send reinforcements? asked Equinox.
Probably because we attacked before anyone else knew of it. replied Galedrim.

"Fly a little slower Equinox, they need to be able to follow us." Equinox slowed down."As for Galbatorix, there's three possibilities. One is he doesnt know yet, like you said. Two is that he knows and doesnt care, and three is that her may have sent renforcements but the battle was so short they havent reached there before we left. Eithor way, we got out alive and thats what matters." She was silent for a moment. "Frazer, Quasar, Equinox, how many dragons do you think it would take to over power Glabatorix' dragon?"

A few, I fought his dragon before during the riders fall. I was know match for him and neither was Sceptar. Us three may be able to do it but it would take awhile. replied Quasar.
"And that dragon keeps getting more powerful like his rider." replied Septaron.
The chances are we would need more dragons. And for all we know he could have more dragons that we don't know of. replied Equinox.
For now its probably just us three. replied Frazer.

"Hmmm." Adurna looked out at the sea of sand, feeling at home in the dry heat of the desert sun. "Equinox, take us down now please. we're here." Ravinia looked out and wondered if her sister had taken leave of her senses. Below was a barren stretch of God forsaken land, devoid of any life. When they ouched down, ADurna leaped down off Equinox and began to scan the ground, looking for something no one else could see.

Equinox landed as did Quasar and Frazer. He looked at Adurna What are you looking at? he asked. He looked at the humans that were by them and wondered hwo they could go on for hours without water. It was nothing for a dragon, but from what he knew of humans they needed water in the dessert.

Adurnaknelt on the ground, running her hands over the scourching surface. Ravinia looked away from her for a moment and concentrated on her surroundings. Then it hit her. She knew this place!
"Ah, found it." Adurna said in satisfaction, standing up. The other's looked at her in confusion but she didnt look at them, instead, she placed her feet directly on top of where she had been feeling and stomped three times. An echo could be heard through the ground. "Good, it's still there. I hope the entrance is big enough."
"Entrance?" said Eris. She looked back at them.
"Yes. Beneath me is the entrance to a network of underground caves and caverns. It's where Ravinia and i escaped to after Crimson left us to die. I knew the desert, and when i came across this place it looked....artificial to me. Like it was an elabrat(sp) set. I did some searching and found this." She turned and dropped back down to her knees. She swept a hand across a patch of ground and started digging. Underneath a foot of sand, a stone door was revealed.
"The lock is special. I think my father built it but i dont know why. That or he was the one who found it."
"Why do you say that?" Asked septaron.
"Because my necklace is the only thing that can open it." She said as she dropped the fang into the small hole and turned it. The door slid away and kept enlarging, rising up out of the sand to form a stairway large enough for the dragons to pass through.
"Huh, it wasnt that big when Ravinia and I needed to use it." She muttered."Must be magic." She reasoned, heading inside.

They looked into a long hallway. From what Equinox could tell it seemed to go through the hole dessert. How large is it? asked Equinox.
He knew that the chances of being discovered by the enemy were very slim. He followed her down with the others next to him. This seemed large then something even the dwarfs could or even would make.

"This place expands throughout the desert i think, but only three places have entrances accesable to people. This is one of them. its the most obvious one too, so i doubt the other's will be found anytime soon." She felt her way down the stairs and into the main chamber. The cavern was so huge, the ceiling was in complete darkness, not even the light from the torch ADurna had conjured up could penetrate the black. "This is the main cavern. It splits off into three others just as large. to the left is the water, to the right is sleeping quarters big enough to house the whole Varden. down the middle is meant for us. here you may go anywhere you like, the first thing Ravinia and i did was mark the walls in different colors so you can find your way back. However," she cautioned," You cannot go farther in down the middle passage than the fifth largest cavern. No one but i may go there." she turned and walked down the middle passage without further explenation. "If you are hungry, animals have found there way down here by burrowing, you can hunt those. Or, if you want bigger game, go out into the desert but be careful."

They stared into the darkness. It amazed all of them at who would build something so large and wonderfull. They sky outside was turning dark. Equinox grew tired but didn't say anything.
"This is great. Its hard to belive that things remain Galbatorix doesn't know about." said Eris.
"Well that good anyway. I'm going hunting I haven't had a desent meal in years." said Kane.

Ravinia watched kane go before moving off to the bathing chambers, she wanted to be clean desperately and the urg to be in water was overwhelming the human part of her. "You guys can look around and do whatever. If you get lost, use mind contact with me or Adurna. Though right now it had best be me. Adurna is......busy at the moment. I'm going to take a bath. The pools are pleanty and huge if anyone else feels dirty. Its also dark, so you need not worry about privacy." She moved off down the left tunnel.

Equinox was first to fly off. First he dove into the pool then flew off toward the sleeping chamber dripping water droplets on everyone. Quasar and Glaedrim took longer showers but they then also went to sleep. Frazer, Eris, and Septaron stayed in the longest bathing. Frazer was glad to get the dirt that accumulated on him for years off of his body.
"Finally time to rest. I don't know about you two but I'm tired of fighting." said Eris.
"I know what you mean. Well we can rest for now fortunately." replied Septaron.

"Yes, you can take as long here as you need." Cam a voice from the dark. They had all forgotten Ravinia was still in here. A pale light was eminating from the southern corner of their bathing pool. The light was like a soft mist that wrapped around the shadow of Ravinia, half submerged in the water. Her eyes glitered brightly, but that was all they could make out. Her eyes. "this place is special. No evil can endure here, in this place. It's sacred. The ancients dwell here. This was where i became what i am. Adurna has gone to visit her powers origins. How does it feel to be swimming in healing water Eris?" she asked him, diving under to swim to the bottom of the pool. Ripples fanned out across the black water, and they lost track of her position entierly.
