Slightly off of the topic that you're on now, but going back to ways for people to die without you having to stop using them...

A forum I used to go on had a special subforum for that sort of thing, that was detracted from the main storyline of the rest of the boards - so people could die in that forum and you could still use them.

I guess instead, you could maybe make a prefix.
Something in Square brackets at the beginning of a roleplay title to say that it doesn't sort of "count"...

I don't know if that makes sense :')



EDIT: I'm also thinking about creating a character for a past-based RP (the character would be the human who later became Ebrithil) and I thought I'd ask before I made it if anyone would be interested in playing it with me? I'd like to develop some history for her and thought it might be fun to roleplay it out :']

Hey, I'm back. Sorry I wasn't on much last week. I had 2 days to kill, process, and freeze 4 deer so I was really, really, really busy. Plus it was thanksgiving and family came up so yeah. I'll try to catch up, but I ditched school one day to go hunting so I have to do that first.

I just realized how addicted I am to the rpgs here! I've been on for an entire 12 hours, just looking. I can't keep myself away!!! I suppose admitting the problem is the first step to the long road of recovery...

I was thinking of changing her somewhere near the end, mostly because the human character would become pretty useless where other RPs are concerned.

And Ben, I know how you feel. I do it on every site I roleplay on. I spend all my time refreshing my subscriptions to see if I've had any replies and when I'm not doing that i'm either posting or looking for something to join ;___;

To go back to what Draco suggested (a long time about about the deaths of charries), I think someone should set an RP like a 100 years in the future, and by the end of the story, everyone is dead! I wouldn't be so sure about doing it though... I would get myself all upset if I killed one of my characters, even if it is in the future.
