Eragon's dream
This is about eragon's dream. The dream i'm reading from is published by Laurel-Leaf and is Paperback. The dream is in the chapter Magic is the simplest thing. If you have my edition that i'm reading from you should turn to page 221. Here is the dream:The night before they reached the village, Eragon's dreams were especially vivid.(Now comes the dream): He saw Garrow and Roran at home, sitting in the destroyed kitchen. They asked him(Eragon)for help rebuilding the farm, but he only shook his head with a pang of longing in his heart. "I'm tracking your killers," he whispered to his uncle.Garrow looked at him askance and demanded,"Do I look dead to you?" "I cant' help you," said Eragon softly, feeling tears in his eyes. There was a sudden roar, and Garrow transformed into the Ra'zac. "Then die," they hissed and leapt at Eragon. He woke up feeling ill and watched the stars slowly turn in the sky. "All will be well, little one," said Saphira gently.(This is the end of the chapter) Now, i'm reading Eragon and i'm not nearly done i'm only on page 289 but can someone tell me what that dream meant and is it coming back further into the book? I felt so scared for Eragon when he had this dream that I almost cried. Did anyone think this dream meant something when they were reading, cause i did.I felt a pain inside for Eragon and i felt so bad for him.

Re: Eragon's dream
The dream wasn't in the movie. So far this dream hasn't had anything to do with the books. as far as a premonition.

you are most like ERAGON
You are powerful, brave and heroic and always willing to face any foes you meet. Though you are learning how to form alliances, determine whether you can trust people, and how to use your magic safely and effectively, you can occasionaly be a bit too headstrong. Luckily you have wise guides like Brom and Saphira to show you the way.

Re: Eragon's dream
the dream is referring back to the past......and the future. it was referring to the guilt Eragon felt not being there when the Ra'zac attacked Garrow and it's also referring to the future and how Eragon is tracking the Ra'zac.

Re: Eragon's dream
it's the beginning of Eragon! when he had the dream it was referring to the past.
