He gained this power from his father Braith, when Zelyts in enraged, he becomes almost unstoppable, however when this is used, it leaves him extremely weak, and next to useless in a fight. It gives him the power of his ancestors on his father's side the orange dragons of the Hadarac. Their "fire power" was renound, but this attack is as I said earlier, very dangerous to use, and is only a last-resort attack.

Shape-Shifting-
Zelyts has the ability to change from his dragon form to that of a naurogarm. He gained this ability from his mother Seren, who helped him learn how to control it. It is a very rare ability, and in his family only His mother, his sister, and himself have it. This ability has not yet been mastered; however he is well on his way to mastering it. He has not yet learned how to control fire as a naurogarm, but will be taught by Tialgo. He also has been learning how to shape-shift into a cave bear. He has started to master this ability.

Character Personality:
Zelyts is a very brave young dragon. He is full of curiosity, and love. He loves to meet and see new people, and loves almost every kind of animal. He gained his love and compassion from his mother Seren. He gained his protectiveness and his "mean streak" from his father Braith. Zelyts loves to hear secrets and loves to joke with his friends. He is one of the most trusting dragons you will ever meet. He has his good days, on which you can ask him to do anything and he will immediately do it, and he has his bad days, when you should leave him alone. He has a real soft spot for his Mother and his Father, whom he loves with all of his heart. He gets very emotional when someone he loves is hurt, and in this state others would be smart to leave him alone. He enjoys the small things in life, as well as the big ones. He loves to have a great time. He is one of the most loyal friends you can have. But, if you are his enemy, you had better watch yourself, because he is extremely dangerous. He enjoys being with friends, and is quick to forgive any and all wrongs. He thinks that those who are good should be the ones who come into power, and that those who are evil should be punished, and in some cases eliminated. He thinks a lot like his mother and father; however he has some ideas of his own. He thinks that Galbatorix's dragon, Shruikan is just a misfortunate dragon, and that it isn't really his fault. That is it Galbatorix's and his previous rider's fault. He is very compassionate to those who are fit to deserve it, and he protects his family with his life. His friends are his friends through the worst and the best. He loves light, happiness, and believes that every race including the Urgals deserves to be left alone and have happiness. He believes that family comes first, then friends, and then and then only his own well-being. He considers himself blessed to have a brother, a sister, and a mother and father. He views them as his most precious item. He is very headstrong, but will listen when others talk. He will help those in need whether a friend or an enemy, he will never turn his back on a friend.


Character History:
Zelyts' egg was laid on a small island off of the West Coast of the island of Sharktooth. His father an orange dragon named Braith, and his mother a Purple shape-shifting dragon named Seren. He hatched with two other eggs around the same time. His sister, Valkaria is a purple dragon and is a lot like their mother. His brother on the other hand, Vulcan is a lot like their father Braith. He is an orange dragon who is always spoiling for a fight. One day, Zelyts was playing outside the cave and fell asleep, when he woke up, he sat that he was not a dragon. He looked like a wolf, but he walked on two legs. He had never heard of a wolf that walked on two legs. After he finally changed back, he ran and told his mother. She explained to him that he had discovered his ability to shape-shift. She also told him the he looked exactly like his mother's friend Tialgo. He grew up for about a year with his mother and his father until one day his father, Braith decided to go fight against the Empire. His mother went with his father. Not long after Zelyts' sister, Valkaria decided to leave home, and Zelyts and his brother were left alone. Not many months later, Zelyts' brother Vulcan decided to leave home also. Zelyts decided that he would stay at their home and keep it safe until one or all returned. He has since then been training and learning about nature in the many islands that surround his home. He has made several trips and has been taught much by his father's teacher Gornath and he also learned about his father's rider, Voenth. He has learned to fly at a good speed for a dragon, though it is nothing special, he in also learning how to master his transformation ability. He has been on the island for a long time with his siblings and parents, but now he is ready to face the empire and all of its power. He is tired of cowering on the island, and has decided to show himself and all of his power to the world. He has been traveling all over the Empire looking for new friends and hopefully allies. He has recently found a good home in the Beor mountain Range. He likes it there, because he loves the dwarves, and the rocks allow him to have better camouflage. He has recently been trying to learn how to shape-shift into a cave bear. He has had some success, however it is nowhere near to being mastered.

Soon after that, Zelyts went to train with his good friend, Tialgo. They worked many things out and Tialgo helped Zelyts a lot, but in the end, Zelyts' training never finished. He was attacked by the spirit of a cave bear, and lived with that inside of him till this day. He has learned how to suppress it. He can use the power to his advantage at times, but fears it so he refuses to use it.

Character's Physical Description:
Dragon:
Zelyts is a very small dragon for his age; he definitely didn't follow in his father's foot-steps as far as that go. He is dark brown from head to toe. He has deep brown eyes that look very inviting. He has a normal wingspan of thirty-two feet. He has razor sharp claws that are colored stark white. He has long, beautiful ivory horns. They are around two feet in length. He has very small, but needle sharp teeth. He is usually seen in and around his family’s home off the coast of Sharktooth.
Naurogarm:
In his naurogarm form, he looks just like Tialgo. He has brown fur, and brown eyes. His claws and fangs are long and sharp. He is almost the exact image of Tialgo.
Cave Bear:
In his cave bear form, he is a huge brown bear with long sharp ivory claws and teeth. His body is very muscled up, and he has strength to kill any and all other mountain beasts, other than some cave bears.

Dreams for the Future: -
