Gender: - Male

Skills: Reik was taught well in the art of the sword by his guardian, and he learned nearly all the most complex patterns possible. His moves are well balanced and powerful, but a tiny bit on the slow side. He is still fast enough to keep up with most opponents, though. Very few can match his skills with the blade. He was also taught good archery, and has a good horn bow. His aim is very good, but if he is hurried or for some reason nervous he falters sometimes. When he is scared or determined however, it's hard for him to miss his target. He also knows how to make his arrows burn with fire thanks to his new sword.

Siblings: - Doesn't know it, but Mesaraih is his brother

Character Personality: He used to be a lot rather like Mesaraih, rather reckless, impulsive, and stubborn. He also never admits he's wrong, even if the truth is undeniable. He always just tries to make some excuse to prove he's right even if he knows he's wrong. Now, after his revival, he still has those charachteristics, but now they are cold and evil. He is unfriendly and almost completely oblivious of all compassive thought. He mainly just focuses on the mission he was assigned, and other thoughts are hard to come by, but from time to time he remembers his past and broods over it, rather sad, wondering if he can escape from his curse, but these thoughts cause him pain. He is very thoughtful of his past nonetheless, and is always thinking of his old friends. Sometimes he likes causing himself pain and doing things he's not supposed to, just to show some sign of defiance. He's also very impatient when it comes to waiting to set off on any kind of journey. If he's told to wait, he can never help retorting and trying to find excuses to speed up the process of leaving. He also has a high temper when it comes to insulting his pride. He's rather fast thinking in all situations, especially in thinking of retorts to somebody who just insulted him.

Character History: He was raised by a man named Rodolfus, but he never knew his parents. He was raised wandering around Alagaesia by this man, and two years after he reached manhood, Rodolfus died on one of his adventures. He fell down a high mountain in an attempt to escape with Reik from a group of the king's guards, falsely accused of murder. After Rodolfus's death, Reik looked desperately for the Varden, full of grief. At that moment, he had practically just looked for a new life, one full of danger so he could live his grief with action. He had also wanted to fight against Galbatorix because he beleived it was his fault Rodolfus had died. He had found them after being told by a sympathetic recruit of the Varden, and he was accepted into the Varden some time afterward. He met Mesaraih there, and soon they had become close friends. The Varden noticed this connection and started assigning them missions together. Together, they did great things for the Varden, but on one of their missions Reik and Mesaraih were separated, and Reik had been captured and tortured. He had managed to escape and rejoin Mesaraih, but he was too weak and in the fight afterwards he died. He was buried by Mesaraih in the middle of the plains and given as decent a burial as possible. Months afterward, a Shade came by, on orders of Galbatorix, and attempted to revive Reik to be interrogated about Mesaraih. In the act, however, the Shade's spirits had tampered with Reik's soul, and he turned evil. He was given a mission to capture Mesaraih, and if possible bring him alive. However, if it was not possible, he would be killed. Reik's soul had been tainted, but not possesed. This taint was possible to remove only by the emotion of true love, and sometimes Reik had tried to fall in love, but it hurt him to attempt to do so, because he could not do very many things outside his mission.

Weapons: - A plain horn bow, and a sword with magical properties. One much like Mesaraih's but with dark flames. It used to be a regular sword that was changed in his revival. You could read the properties on my other bio, but I know you work hard, and I'll save you the trouble. It can manipulate flame in all kinds of manner, and the flames are black. They are very hard to see at night, and it can also generate invisible heat like Mesaraih's. It can shoot different kinds of powered flames, and this causes little fatigue.

Likes: - Nature and adventure.

Dislikes: - Annoying people, people who think they're perfect, and an excess of industrial life.

Animal Companions: - None

Character's Physical Description: He has long, dark hair and black eyes rimmed with blue. He has a tall, slim build, but he is muscular and strong nonetheless. He has a fierce look and has a hard time passing by faces of emotions that he's not feeling. He has tan skin and long hands. His tallness is mostly due to his long legs. He rather good facial characteristics, but he doesn't show them off very much. Despite his slimness, he has well-defined muscles.

Dreams for the Future: - Before he was revived, he wished Galbatorix was overthrown, and now he just wishes to overcome his curse.

Reason for Dreams: - He wanted revenge for Rodolfus' death, and now he wants his curse gone so he can go back to his old self.

Alignment/side: - Galbatorix's side now; not through own choice
