but other than that, i play classical, like moonlight sonata (Beethoven), Nocturne in Eb Major (Chopin), etc......



i also take chord sheets and play songs i know....like move along (All-American Rejects), and songs by random christian artists......

oh, yeah. ive heard that before, i just didnt know the name.....a friend of mine can play it......



but no, i cant play it.....yet, at least....

yeah, i probly could learn it, but i prefer music from the romantical era....(dont ask me why they call it that, the music really does not sound romantic) but i like it because back in that day you could use something called rubato or robbed time. you could slow down a section of the piece and speed it up somewhere else.....its kinda hard to explain, but thats roughly what it is......and i like it, cuz each artist plays it a different way. it gives you more freedom of how to play the song.....like this one:








ive heard it played soooooo many different ways. in fact, in my opinion, this guy is playing it a bit too fast (thats not me, btw....).......

i think i played something like that once. probly not the same thing, but it sounds like it.....and of course i forget what its called....

I just learned how to play this on my Trumpet. If i had the right stuff and basically if i knew how to i would put a video of me playing it on youtube but i dont know how.

You can hear the actual trumpet parts in this song. And as for the other parts, i wrote down the notes of the quitar and the singing and played it sort of like an accompanyment to the actual tune.

i just learned this one for piano:

I am about ready to learn Way to the Mandalay on trumpet tonight and tomorrow. It usually takes me a day to learn a song especially by ear.

Nah, I could if i wanted to be, but i have terrible knees, and our band marches like miles at a time, so it'd be a bad idea for me. But I am in Jazz and Concert band.

yeah, improvising, transposing, and sight-reading are good for hymn-players because if someone asks you to play something you don't know, you can play it.....

well, i learned the songs during the week and i posted them on here one by one.....i learn songs quick, but not that quick!

Well this'll be a change of pace from the songs above me, but the most recent thing I learnt was River Flows in You by Yiruma. Aka Bella's lullaby off the twilight soundtrack. Although I learnt it before it was listed as the lullaby.
