Hm. Well i am once again trying my hand at making another RP character. That way i can have some variety when i enter new topics. I do hope this is not confusing because i have a feeling i have the longest history in quite some time. I went in depth about how he found his dragon and his previous adventures and so on and so forth. So here we go. My last character got accepted in one shot so my goal is to have that happen again here. Here we are:

Skills: A very good swordsman and magic wielder. Ever since he found his dragon's egg, he had been getting better at controlling his newfound strength and his dragon also guides him through with his own ancestral knowledge.

Race: Human

Hair: Brown, almost black, hair.

Eyes: Brown

Siblings: None

Personality: Draco was raised at first only to become his villages local blacksmith and follow in his fathers footsteps but these dreams quickly vanished when he was recruited into Galbatorix's army at age 19. He began basic training the next day and quickly grew acquainted with the art of the sword and after several battlefield promotions, he became the sergeant of his own squad of men. They were all a ragtag bunch but he quickly formed them all into fine soldiers showing excellent leadership skills.
Draco loves conversation, especially with those he knows (mostly his squad members). He is fearless both on and off the battlefield and is a great soldier. He holds kindness and respect for any friends he may make and knows how to be responsible. However, at his worst, he can be quiet and serious. He does not take kindly to insults and when attacked or interrogated, he will fight back. Along with swordwork, he can also fight well with his hands and feet (martial arts basically not like kung fu, just to an extent lol) and these skills have been tested both on and off the battlefield.

History: Draco was always into metalwork and constantly watched his father make ornamental swords, armor, wheel supports, steel gate locks and any other thing imaginable. He first tried his hand at metalwork when he was 11 years old and with guidance from his father, made his own broadsword which is the weapon he carries with him in his travels.
He hoped to make this his career until those dreams were shattered when he became 19 years old. One day after he turned 19, soldiers of King Galbatorix came into his home of Teirm and he was recruited into the service by force. The last thing he saw of his parents was his mother crying in his father's arms after his recruiter said, “Rejoice, your son will be a hero.”
He was sent to basic training in Gilead the next day where he met his commanding officer Crimson. His skills with the sword grew quickly as did his leadership skills and after a battlefield promotion in which he led an assault on a massive supply caravan headed for the Beor mountains, he was promoted to Sergeant and led his own squad of men. They were all newly recruited but Draco quickly got them into fighting shape, faster than most of the others in training. He was starting to like his new profession.
One day, he received an assignment to aid in a rally of troops in the borders of the Hadarac desert but on his way there, he stumbled, or rather tripped over a massive, shiny, silver oval stone in the empty fields before the desert territory. At first he thought to return it to the king himself and deep inside he was surprised that no one else had found it especially since it looked to have so much value. But as he journeyed to the King’s city, he grew the sudden urge to keep the stone and thus because of this, he got himself out of the rally assignment. But one day later, he found the stone shattered and a strange looking creature with wings laying beside him in his bed inside a local inn. On his right hand was a strange silverish oval-like mark that was rather itchy and irritating. However, he was more amazed at the creature that stood before him, only as tall as his knee and unfortunately, rather hungry. He left the town with an awkward burden, a shaking and partially open backpack and many staring and strange faces. When he finally reached out into the fields again, he let the creature out and quickly learned it to be a dragon because of its hunger for meat instead of crops or other foods.
Over one-and-a-half years, the bond between him and the young dragon quickly grew as did the hatchling himself and Draco spent one day himself compiling a list of names to give to the hatchling and after about three hours of listing off names he knew from either his hometown or from things he had read, he eventually found that the hatchling had taken a liking to the name Rector and so this became his name. In one year, he already was taller than Draco and had a wide wingspan. Along with this however came a larger appetite and he had to let the dragon hunt in the fields and into the territory of the Varden as well. After almost two years he learned how to use magic, taught to him by Rector himself because of ancestral knowledge that he possessed signaling that he was in the egg for a very long time. He finally thought it time for the two to return to the King’s city to inform him of his discovery and his bond. Wearing his armor of red and black to signify he was one of the King’s soldiers, he made his way into the King’s throne room and informed him of the dragon. At first he was starting to loose his fearlessness at hearing the kings response but he only asked that Draco keep his and his dragon’s allegiance to him. Draco pondered over this. If he said yes, he could definitely be a formidable force in the army but if he said no, he would loose everything he valued, loved ones, possessions, friends. He had heard rumors before he had found the egg of a new dragon rider as well who joined the Varden. He thought it a crime if he were to kill another dragon and so with heavy reluctance, he said, “I fear that I cannot continue my service.” He did not wish to commit treason, only to live in neutrality from now on but the king was not pleased at his response.
And so, threatened with death for himself and his dragon, Draco fought his way out of the city and flew with Rector into the fields once again. They currently roam neutral over Alagaesia unsure of whether to join the Varden or to return to the king.

Weapons: Two Broadswords. One, the ornamental but strong sword he forged when he was a boy, and two, a strong and sharp blackened steel broadsword given to him when he became a sergeant.

Likes: Traveling with Rector high above the land and observing what he was not able to see of Alagaesia when he was a boy.

A good fight and good company like his long lost squad members.

Dislikes: The idea of harming others of his fortune; dragon riders in short.

Animal Companions: none

Physical Description: Athletic with a slim but strong build. He wears the armor given to him when he became a soldier of the Empire. It is red and black in color the boots and helmet black. The gauntlets are black also with short dark red claws. The steel leggings and the armor that covers his torso is completely dark red with mixed black designs.

Dreams for the Future: To find others that have the same gift, other dragon riders.

Reasons for Dreams: To find a purpose and fulfill his new destiny.

Dragon Name: Rector

Age: Almost three years old.

Gender: Male

Parents: Unknown

History: Rector’s egg was found by Draco half-buried underground and hidden by tall grass. Rector himself was in his egg for well over one hundred years at least though it is not clearly known. He hatched for Draco while he was sleeping and he touched his hand with his nose, giving him the mark of the dragon rider. Over their two year journey together, he taught Draco how to use magic, a gift that all dragon riders carry, using his ancestral knowledge that he carried with him in the shell.
When Draco came back in a hurry from his meeting with the King however, he became worried and followed his rider’s advice to stay away from human cities. And so he only flies in the uninhabited lands with Draco in the hopes to find other dragon riders.

Personality: Free going and good spirited he also loves to travel and he also enjoys hunting in the fields and near the borders of the forest. He also has high fighting spirits and even though he has not fought at all yet, he constantly keeps his flying in check. He is also a fire breather and loves to show it off by performing aerial maneuvers while breathing fire, making quick drawings in the sky.

Color: Grey scales with several dark grey and black lines stretching down his wings and back.

Appearance: Middleweight in size with a wide wingspan which is only a little longer than the length of his body from nose to tail. He is grey in scale color and has dark grey and black lines and markings on his wings and back.

Dreams for the future: To find others of his kind and to help Draco in fulfilling their combined destinies.

Reasons for Dreams: To fulfill their destinies as dragon and rider.
