Leurgan
Here comes the chaos. Name: - Leurgan
Age: - 27 years
Gender: - Male
Skills: - Numbing Torture; This ability is abominable, at least to others. To Leurgan, it is a piece of himself. Using it is tiring for him now, after Zeke Blindscale supposedly 'destroyed' his soul, so he rarely does unless he must for his own survive. Unlike before, where he could attack two or three at a time, he is now limited to one, and even then it is a struggle. It takes a great amount of concentration though very little energy, leaving him exhausted mentally but almost buzzing with strength physically. An interesting side is the angrier he is, the sharper and more powerful the pain. Side note: Leurgan can not kill with this ability. He's tried countless times, but he simply can not kill.
Race: - Human
Hair: - Pure, stark white
Eyes: - Impossibly black with no reflecting gleams, like two endless voids.
Home Village: - He didn't bother to remember.
Parents: - They shunned him so he shunned them.
Siblings: - Seveta (older sister); unknown Nagruel (younger brother); deceased
Character Personality: - Leurgan is not completely heartless, or at least he wasn't, as one would think at first glance of his past. True he tortured small animals with his powers, but then he was testing them, seeing how much pain he could make the animal feel at one time. For the first few years of his life he was kind and generous to those of the village, but when they found out of his powers they all but forgot him in their terror. Kind and generous changed to confused and hurt, then enraged and bitter. His temper went bad to worse from there. He openly used his power against those that had previously adored him, including his parents. It was all unfair in his mind. It wasn't his fault he had these abilities, and yet they still feared him. His anger is still sharp as a spear point to this day. But its his bitterness and hatred combined that is what can freeze your veins solid. After he left the village, the only one he came even close to caring for was Nagruel. Heck, he loved his little brother almost more than himself. It was no small thing that he'd never ever even gone near Nagruel with the intent of practicing on him. Now, with his body being forced to recover strength, his little brother dead, and everything lost, his hatred of Zeke Blindscale is deep and harsh. That dragon put him through hell and back again, if that were possible. Obviously it was because he was still alive. But his Soul was scarred nonetheless. He no longer wants just vengeance of those that cast him out. He wants blood now. He wants someone to suffer. He plans first on capturing someone that Zeke loves and torturing them slowly with his powers before slitting their throat. He wants the amethyst to suffer like he did. And suffer Zeke will. Very, very slowly. And then, maybe, just maybe, Leurgan may have enough mercy in him to finally end Zeke's life. That's a very hefty 'maybe'.
Character History: - Leurgan was an innocent child once. But that was a long time ago, and things change. The first time he used his ability was at the age of three. He'd been angry because he couldn't play with a certain toy, and it simply exploded from him, unchecked, unmeasured. His mother and father had been with him at that time. For them, the pain seemed to last for an eternity, but in reality it was perhaps only half a minute before Leurgan understood, or partially understood (he was three at the time after all), what was happening and why. He stopped it. His parents were horrified and terrorized to even come near him. In the beginning he was saddened and didn't understand why his mother and father avoided contact with him. That sadness slowly turned to bitterness. Though his parents had asked him to not use his ability unless needed, (translation, never), he periodically went out into the woods and practiced on small animals. At first he could only manage a single bird, then gradually he could do two, then three, and then even four. He moved on to something bigger; a fox or wildcat. Then to wolves. This is where he found himself stuck. There was nothing bigger than a wolf in the forest surrounding his home. So he turned to domestic animals. Again he started small with chickens, then cats or dogs, donkeys, horses, cows, then, finally, with people. At this time Leurgan had, more or less, full control of his powers. He was six. His brother was born, but with an ability that was pretty much the exact opposite of his own. The years rolled by and by the time he was 16, every person in his home village was terrified of him, men, women, and children. The Counsel gathered a meeting of the elders and discussed the subject of him. After a few days, they decided. He was to be exiled. Shunned. He wasn't completely surprised, but when he went to his home to gather his things, his parents wouldn't let him in. This hurt him. Driven by anger, which sharpens his ability, he attacked them only once. That was all it took. Trembling in terror they let him in. Nagruel, 10 years old, is confused. He wants to go with Leurgan, and he says yes. His parents, too fear stricken to say anything against it, simply watched as Leurgan and Nagruel left the village. For a few weeks they hung around the village. They hadn't had the chance to say good-bye to Seveta, their older sister, who had been the only one in the entire village before his brother was born that tolerated, if not loved, Leurgan and his powers. After two weeks, they gave up and moved up. They decided to go east to see the creatures there. He found the Nagrel, huddled all together in a deep cave. There had been only half a dozen then. Traveling further, he'd found the Fortress, hidden deep inside the mountains. With a bit of work and patience, Leurgan earned the trust of the Gargoyles and moved them into the Fortress as his servants. He didn't mistreat them or hurt them with his powers unless they disobeyed, and this was a rare occurrence. Once he and Nagruel were settled, he began to send Nagrel scouts out to survey the land nearby. The Tribe came to his attention. He mainly left them alone, only occasionally sending for one or two of the dragons to be captured, over a period of time of course, so he could test his powers on them. He was twenty-six. And then something interesting happened to the Tribe. He of course couldn't tell what exactly, but he knew it was something big and powerful. Whispers of the already legendary 'Silver Star' had reached him, and his scouts said that she had been with the Tribe. He watched from a distance as things unfolded with the Tribe dragons. He was intrigued by this power Silver Star dragoness. Things were quiet mostly for roughly three months, and then Zeke Blindscale came. Whispers of this dragon had also traveled ahead of him, at least to Leurgan's ears, and he was curious. He wanted to lure the amethyst here and bribe him. With the kind of power that it was whispered this dragon possessed was something that he could use against those that had wronged him. (Time Skip, because we know how that went and plus I don't know how to describe it. XD) After Zeke destroyed him, he drifted for a while. He had no where to go because he didn't know where his body was. But he felt a strange tug to the west. He managed to attach his spirit to a Nagrel and have it take him in that direction. He found his body almost near death curled in the fetal position. He detached from the Gargoyle and flew into his own body. It had been a long time since he'd eaten or drank anything, so his muscles were near to nothing in strength and he was so skinny you could see his sternum and count every rib in his chest. He's now slowly regaining strength with the help of the Nagrel he took as a host and another that found them.
Weapons: - His ability and a plain steel longsword his younger brother stole for him (he has absolutely no skill with it, however).
Likes: - The Nagrel, his loyal gargoyles.
Dislikes: - Zeke Blindscale and any he considers family or friends.
Weakness: - Memories of his little brother.
Fear: - Losing. He believes he's doing this not just for himself but for Nagruel.
Animal Companions: - Two Nagrel (Gargoyles), one that he used temporarily as a host and the second that found him and the first.
Character's Physical Description: - Leurgan is tall and lanky for a man of his age, quite tall, actually, perhaps 6' 1", 6' 2", and very, very beautiful. His skin is pale as alabaster and seemingly smooth and soft as silk, but faintly luminous, as if a small bit of power from the moon itself had set itself behind his flesh to enhance his beauty. His mouth can be set and firm if he wants to be, but he prides himself in his ability to make a woman weep for his kisses by doing no more then pursing his lips slightly. It has more power over human females than elven, and even then it depends on how stubborn and loyal the woman is. He's not very strong, never had been, at least not physically. His strength came from the power of his words and his mind, which of course led to his ability. His hair has grown longer now, almost down to his shoulders, but it is the same stark white as it was from the week of his birth. His eyes are also the same cold, ruthless black. He usually wears a black tunic with black trousers and a black traveling cloak, though he rarely goes on foot. He's still weak and very, very thin, so one of the Nagrel usually carry him wherever he wishes to go.
Dreams for the Future: - Make Zeke suffer and those that shunned him and then kill them.
Reason for Dreams: - Zeke rebuffed him not once, not twice, but three times. Leurgan wants that amethyst dragon dead at his feet, and the same with those from his home village and even the Tribe if he can get his hands on them, but not before he makes them suffer for not taking his generous offer.
Alignment/side: - His own, though he will join whoever can help him become stronger and therefore kill Zeke. This is my last charry for a while. D, feel free to hogtie my fingers so I can't make any more characters. XD
