Emrhyst looked back warily then followed Zantya with Eriel on her back

Aelir walked close to Faefnir. The only bad thing about being bonded to his rider here was that he felt some of the uneasiness and fear that Keralin felt. But that wouldn't stop him from fighting or running. Then came the sounds of the beast roaring. Aelir hadn't been scared before, in that he hasn't been scared for himself but for others, but upon hearing the drums mixed with the beasts roaring he felt fear.

Aeraldi was standing off to the side a little, he feared nothing. He had been through worse, much worse than this. Even when the first beast, that was nearly as large as the corridor, emerged from the darkness and revealed its hideous form he was not scared. He only felt pity at the dark corrupted creature.

OOC: Basic pass turn.

Come, Aelir. We only fear that which has reason to be feared. Show no hesitation, for they feed on fear. Then he started to follow Zantya.

Eriel rolled her eyes and started to place wards upon wards upon wards around them, making sure the powder couldn't get through no matter what. It was tiring, but worth it as the powder started to dry up in the dry air in the cave.
OOC: -Pass turn

Aelir was feeling the beginnings of the drug. His eyes drooped slightly and his movement were becoming slower.

Aeraldi just took one whiff on the dust and sneezed violently.

OOC: Pass

OOC: Pass, can't think of anything.. ANYTHING!!!

OOC: Star where are you? It's your turn.

OOC: Hmmm, OK. You're the boss.

Faefnir, heeding his dragon instincts and his own nature as a warrior, plunged headfirst toward the army of the strange subterranean dragon rats. He made sure to hold them off so Eriel and Reb wouldn't be distracted while they killed the Shades or escape. Everyone, right behind me to the left is another tunnel that will lead you to safety. Go, now! I'll hold them. He arched his neck and iced several more of the Shades pawns.

Darkness creeped around him, suffocating him, bringing him deeper into the nothing that has no name. Keralin tried to cry out for help but his lungs couldn't find the air to do so which made his fear all the more real. Although there was no light around he could still see himself clearly, his flesh seemed to be writhing in front of his eyes. The next sight however was one that sent chills down Keralin's spine. He could see himself bathing in the darkness taking in everything that he could, increasing his own power to unimaginable levels. When he could see his own eyes all his energy seemed to drain from his body, they were entirely black and made the darkness around him seem all the more brighter. It was imprited in his mind that he wouldn't become that being again, nothing would control him. Keralin took in a deep breath and forced himself into consciousness again. He opened his eyes and jumped off Aelir's back, drawing both his swords in a flash.
"I am Keralin! And I will not be a pawn of the darkness ever again!" He yelled into the darkness before charging headlong into battle.

Aeraldi couldn't hold his light any longer, he was tired and his time had been expended. I'm done! I cannot hold my light any longer, I'll see you again later. Aeraldi's light faded, bathing everything in darkness. The roars of monsters of the deep resounded through the tunnels now. Aeraldi shuddered and fell into the ground, if there was anything that could see him they would have seen Aeraldi's scales turn black. They would have seen his claws extend and his spikes lengthen. Guess who's back! Aeraldi said in an evil tone.

OOC: pass

Emrhyst groaned. They won't be able to get out with the shade in the battle so, with a mighty leap she landed on top of a few creatures, biting and clawing them while Eriel lengthened her blade to cut them from dragon back.

OOC: Not sure what to say. I'm dryin up here

OOC: I can't think of anything. Pass.

OOC: Your turn Star

OOC:-Pass...

Emrhyst snarled and slashed at one before jumping off towards Faefnir, her teeth bared at those in front of her. Eriel brandished her blade, letting a green spark of electricity jump from it. Emrhyst grinned and stood back to back with Faefnir, crouching.

OOC:Short

OOC: sorry.

Faefnir heard Aeraldi. Everybody, regroup around me![/i] Then Faefnir increased the intensity of his scale light, blinding the creatures surrounding them on nearly all sides. Aelir, get Keralin before he has a panic attack! Everybody, come towards me! Aeraldi, we're counting on you to lead us to the passageway. When everyone gathered around him, Faefnir cautiously followed Aeraldi's directions.

Emrhyst let out a growl and followed cautiously.

OOC: short

The screams of unknown monsters and shades echoed through the tunnels, sometimes accompanied with a roar of anger and enjoyment.

Aelir picked up his rider and ran for Faefnir's light, his claws pounding on the floor and crushing smaller beasts. Keralin held on to what he knew and what he could see for as long as he could yet the voice still returned.
Running again? I suppose that's all you can do.
"I won't have my vengeance now, but it will come."
If you do come back, remember one thing; You are still owned by us.
Keralin grunted and embraced the light coming from Faefnir, his scales illuminating the darkness around him.

Once again Aeraldi emerged from the shadows covered in blood, the untold horror's and his own. He got me good, Aeraldi said weakly. but I am done with my fun now. My other side will lead the way. Aeraldi sagged to the floor and allowed himself to change, his scales becoming white again.

I'll be fine, let's just keep moving. The passage I mentioned is still a distance up ahead. Aeraldi said.

OOC: ILS You're up
